I think women are interested in bitcoin. But no one here shows up by saying "I am a woman". It's not necessary.

As mentioned in one of the quote, there are lot of women getting into bitcoin as well into other cryptocurrency usage. Women might find it difficult to learn, but if they get interested towards it automatically they'll innovate more through the same platform making large scale contributions.
and women also are tend to take this kind of currency and also have some patience of here in cryptocurrency , but i may know that for my opinion i think that there is a lot of men here than women this is for what i observe for cause what i actually know for is for my friends that knowing this currency.

I think why we don't have much women in Bitcoin is because majority of women tend to be overprotective and not adventurous. They are afraid to take risks and that's why worldwide today, we have less women in politics and technology. Lots of women are dying silently instead of taking the bull by the horn and make change happen they feel less concerned and mostly rely on their men for support.

Come on, is gender still an issue in this day and age? We always hunger for non-discriminating laws yet it is us who cause double standards. We have so much on our plates already yet we still make an issue out of gender. Hello, aren't we here yet? In the digital age? This is already 2018, people. Nonetheless, if you are just into presenting the data on hand without debasing one gender from the other, I guess it is because of the risks involved vis-a-vis the way of thinking of an individual that may be closely related to ones gender.

Most women are only good at following instructions and are not self starters. Most emerging technology don't come with an easy manual that makes it easy for the little percentage of women in tech to follow. Another reason is that men take more risks than women. Women are naturally not risk takers. And you'll agree with me that Bitcoin comes with a lot of risks.

Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

It's tech bro...you got about 90-95% men in all areas of tech.  The women will come later, probably after some of bitcoin's usefulness crosses over with one of their own interests.

I can attest to the fact that the gender disparity wasn't as great in 2011/2012 when silk road was booming - everyone likes drugs.  But now, its mostly just nerdy tech stuff and pump/dumps.  (guy stuff)

I think there are closed groups in the forums and they are filled up with men. Women can feel to be excluded from these kind of environments. Women can be involved more by openning these subjects to the discussion with them.

I believed most woman are giving their times to their husband's and kids, some lady are busy on having party,  some girls want to Fuchs on their study and career, some doesn't have any bit idea or knowledge on bitcoin.... This are some major factors why the other gender are not here...

Statistically speaking, ther are more men than women in the field of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT). My professor in college told us that this is because more men are engage in STEM subjects while more women are on the HUMSS. But he also told us that here in a modern day society, gender roles and expectations are deviated in order to survive.

Because women is more than have everyday tasks than men. Specially when the women are working then they have a lot of work when they got home at the same time taking care of the children so they have no time to set infront of the screen working with bitcoin. Aside from that men are more agressive when it comes to new challenges and opportunity.

I think there are enough women in crypto, they just don't show up in data because they do things differently than men.
I know a woman that managed like 10 or so accounts of other women in crypto. So naturally she would count as one person instead of 10.

If it isn't their expertise, they would delegate as compared to men who will just jump right in solo.

I think the exact same thing applies to engineering or IT courses.. Why there aren't many women in either of them is because technical stuff is too much of a hassle for them as they are more on the creative side.

I think it depends on the personality of a person.. However, a majority of women prefer non-technical fields, so you are most probably right. My sister is a doctor, so I guess that counts as technical.

Maybe because men is more agressive when in comes to bitcoin. They are aware in every sites that they know they will earn into this. Maybe one of the reason too is more men are interested in this and less of women's are not because this is not their field.

Perhaps woman are irritant to think deeply, making ideas like working with it esp. in bitcoin. and they are more focused on household chores. Traditional ways of living, Woman mostly spend time in the house and nourished the kids, While men are the bread winner of the family,

Many factors are responsible. this includes, knowledge of bitcoin, willingness to take risk, lack of mentor and many others.

It is because not all of the people knows bitcoin, maybe they know but they are not interested on it, it is either of that two. Also it doesn't matter if there are only few women who do bitcoin, we have different things that we wanted to do in life, and it is our choice on what we are going to do to earn a living or to pursue our dreams.

In my own personal opinion, the reason why they are only few women who are interested to use bitcoin is because there only few women who is good in taking care of their money and knows how to invest. But actually gender role in bitcoin is not required as long you know how to use bitcoin and know how it works, you can use it to earn bitcoins.
