women enjoy beauty, of course. they were born to be beautiful. And they do not like bitcoin technology, it's quite complicated, just like, not many women know the code

This could be related to nature of work that bitcoin is providing us or may be the crypto currency itself. I mean bitcoin is all digital stuff and over the internet whereas woman tend to have more or less off line works or which are more creative and excites them. May be they feel safer to work off line and don’t mess up their head in the internet and thats really a survey who speaks like that about them.

This could be one of the reason and also a woman will always find trusted way to earn money and probably internet is full of vulnerability and hence nothing can be done with it. For them its first unsafe place and thats why they will never try to go into it and make the money over there.

Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

I dont think if women interesting in this kind of work. because we know that only few used bitcoin as you say there are only 4% of bitcoin users in the world that female. i think because it is in online and they think it scam or just bored and we know that men was more got interesting in one thing if we have gain in it and we know that women was do shopping in one things before it they got interested. we male was more on the online and as an male i fond in this kind of work that female think it is boring.
this is because the majority of women have a lot of work.
in addition to work, that is cooking, and others.
different from men, their activities other than work, no more activities other than running a hobby.
that's why women are not too much in this bitcoin field.

I'm sorry, but this is a stupid question. But I see you're a newbie, so... nevermind

May have been a stupid question to ask as you put it. However it ihas turned into a very robust conversation, and it is a subject that is of interest on both sides of the gender aisle. Personally I have enjoyed the conversation, a lot of quality comments, especially from the female side.
I have encouraged my step-daughter to get involved, and a month ago she finally took the plunge with a hefty investment, my wife knows exactly what to do in case something happens to me, to take over my investment, without loosing everything.
Which bring me to this statement, make sure your family or closest family member know how to gain access of your crypto currency, as an investment or at least knows how to get your fiat. Because accidents do happen. Plan for the future, or loose everything you have worked for.

I think men are more interested in women than women to understand this emerging thing bitcoin, and bitcoin can make huge profits, which is what most men want.

No matter what the people say, we have now gender equality, and besides we cannot force not only women but people on what are our ideas are. Here in this community, i usually see men compared to women, maybe women have their own priorities and they also have their own perspective in life, and definitely we cannot tell whether man or woman as long as they have their interest to a specific fields, let them have their own decision.

Because men prefer to look for something in technology than women. Men are more interested in more often dive into the world of technology because it is that which make it increasingly challenged and passion in using technology. Average women are not so willing to with the term complication or difficulty, for bitcoin if indeed do not understand it is very hard to understand, whether it's measures work, mining or other. Women also prefer all about her that instantly

I think  its because alot of women dont believe that they will earn here in bitcoin unlike to men that is more patient and agressive when it comes to this kind of work especially that men is more computer enthusiasts rather than girls. Also most girls will prefer other job rather than this kind of work because they believe that this is scam that is the reason why in this kind of work most user are men because if women uses computer, cellphone or other gadgets they will just do facebook, twitter and instagram that is why women are lesser in this bitcoin community.

It's only natural that as Bitcoin adoption grows, there will be more women involved in it.  There already are quite a few, they might not be as "boisterous" as the men in all cases.  Quietly HODLing their stash.  Smart.

Many technology fields were (and many still are) dominated by men.  This is changing, and it will be great to see more women involved in all aspects of technology.

I am certainly not saying women can’t understand bitcoin but most women don’t like technical stuff and don’t want to learn about it.

There are less women in bitcoin community because women doesn't like more about technology. They just wanted social media, fashions, etc. Women are not that curious about the latest events in the virtual world. Because they are not that computer enthusiasts, they don't know more about virtual world. Even lot of people tells about cryptocurrency, women just can't relate about this and they don't want to. In our class room, four of the ten women are in the bitcoin community and the others does not like to be part of this community. Most women does not like more about computers so they are lesser in the bitcoin community.

This is a pretty interesting question. Men tend to trade more bitcoin than women. Because women do not have much access to bitcoins and often fret about home work. Men have a lot of knowledge about information technology, so they have more bitcoin understanding than women

Because not many women know about bitcoin. I feel lucky to be one of the women who joined in bitcoin.
This is the reason why women are not much into digital currencies. They really don’t understand digital world easily. They basically want things that are simple and easy. Most of the girls are not interested in apps and different software etc. bitcoin is the one which needs some technical knowledge and girls are not very good at all this. I am pretty sure that bitcoin is going to attract business women in coming days.

There's no connection if there will be more women in bitcoin or it is dominated by men. What's the most important thing is that technology like bitcoin does have a lot of people who are into it and sticks to what they have.

Bitcoin is more of a passion now and not only men nor women can be with it. I have known some women that are now into bitcoin and it is not a big deal to me.

And if we will talk about the population in the world, there are too many of us than women. But to me this isn't a big issue though.
Women mostly don't want to take risks and to them, Bitcoins is a very unpredictable and risky business.  And since men are the more adventurous type and willing to take more risks when it comes to making money, that's why there are more men than women interested in bitcoins answer other cryptocurrencies but it seems more and more women  are becoming interested in bitcoins now.

Don't say in general that women don't want to take the risk. There are some but not all of them doesn't want to take and ready for the risks. I even admire those women that chose to take the risk by investing to bitcoin but doing some research before that.

What I don't like is some are just investing because they mostly think for the profit. They don't think about the real technology about bitcoin on how it is convenience to do such transactions with.

There should be a balance when we are talking about battle of the sexes.
