Any regulation can't prevent us from using Bitcoin. Despite their attempt to keep an eye on the system, it is simply impossible for them to ban people using it. So why giving a fuck to "I'm afraid my country will ban Bitcoin!"
They have nothing to fully stop the ecosystem that is currently emerging.

I agree with your opinion, until now the government has not been able to cripple bitcoin so that bitcoin is becoming increasingly popular.  If there is a government that wants to ban bitcoin, but their efforts are in vain, the proof is that until now the price of bitcoin continues to rise so that more people will know about bitcoin this year.

I would like to take up the points of an article published on Bitcoinist. (Even if some will say that this media is Pro-Bitcoin the points are the most important.)

Quote
1. Laws Can’t Be Written Against Bits and Bites
2. You Can’t Ban Open-Source Distributed Software
3. Bitcoin Can Be Broadcasted via Satellite
4. You can Send Bitcoin Via SMS
5. You Can’t Shut Down the Power Grid

Another thing to think about is that the only thing that they can ban are the locally available wallets within the country but it is still impossible to fully ban Bitcoin since using Bitcoin is a profit to some local companies. Banning something just because of a petty reason will really draw flak from a lot of places and would just reignite the wants of people to further use it.

People who speak out against Bitcoin all have the same principle. You know their main argument is that "if the governments of all countries will ban Bitcoin at some point then everyone will be deceived." The proponent of such a kind of theory is our Honorable Sir @JP_Morgan. But where is he now?
The reality is that Bitcoin can never be banned because now it is a global revolution and it is a global invention of modern civilization.

No one will be able to ban Bitcoin even if they talk to the Chinese government. Bitcoin is not regulated by a decentralized government. Most traders from the government are leaning towards decentralized currency. They are making a lot of money by investing the government cannot do anything. The world will go a long way in digitalizing the world and in terms of technology. Proper use of crypto will also influence the government to use bitcoin. Many companies are getting involved with crypto.

On a more lighter note, it is definitely impossible to ban something with great value like Bitcoin. At this current stage that a lot of people has invested in Bitcoin, believed in its technology, developed on it and thus proving that for once, payments can be done in a peer-to-peer manner, then it means that the knowledge of Bitcoin has reached far and wide hence the government can't ban it. The only pain of the government is that, they understood they can't control it because of its decentralized nature, thus what the government has done so far is creating fud but nowadays, they are relaxing their laws to suit Bitcoin in any way possible because they have lost their battle towards it. Hence in my own opinion, banning Bitcoin is not going to happen and institutional investors will only but keep coming in  because they have no choice.

Sometimes ridiculous regulations are based on the government's public interest, so I thought maybe it was based on a dislike of bitcoin. I also think why feel like banned bitcoin is funny. but I think people will still own and use bitcoin for transactions of any kind

Bitcoin cannot be banned because of its very nature. It is an open source platform and is decentralized. It does not come under any governance and changing laws according to it will make no difference to the crypto itself. Considering how many countries had banned Bitcoin in the past, it still went higher.
Bitcoin can be banned and some countries are already done that what you probably mean is that Bitcoin cannot be stopped. The government can impose a prohibition upon using crypto and make punishment who should not abide that law however if people really love this technology, they cannot be stopped due to the fact that they can hide their addresses and identity or simply become anonymous. Besides, Bitcoin is decentralized so there's no way they can totally manipulate this one.

As long as there is internet there will be bitcoin. Government can regulate but they can't have the full control. I've seen countries that have been banned on using bitcoin but still managed to accept and buy bitcoin. This is the very reason why bitcoin is created, to create system that is not dependent on government or institutions.

Even though there are countries that have banned Bitcoin, that cannot stop residents of that country from using Bitcoin.
As long as we can use the internet, we can still use Bitcoin, so there is no need to worry if our country is banned Bitcoin.
Even a country as big as China and America cannot kill Bitcoin, therefore I firmly believe Bitcoin will live a very long time.

Exactly, the major countries will become minor if they ignore BTC and lose the benefits as well. And countries who support Cryptocurrency will boom fastly especially Estonia the country which is very eco friendly when it comes to Cryptocurrency.

BTC can't be erased the vision is very big and there is a strong from the public too, so long-live BTC is my next resolution Cheesy

Bitcoin is a digitized currency and isn’t limited to any platform. It’s can’t be totally banned though many countries are against the technology but bitcoin enthusiasts are still investing and trading bitcoin under the nose of the government. The technology has gone big and can’t be frustrated by the government because many big business owners are now investing in bitcoin.

Bitcoin can't be banned as a technology because you can't stop people from using it, it's open for all. But the other thing is that governments could introduce a law for Bitcoin so that it becomes unconstitutional. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided
indeed, people wants bitcoin, it is open to everyone, the more they are prohibited to it the more they will find their own way to access bitcoin website and they find way to earn it. so therefore it cannot be banned, website related to it can be blocked but it can still access through the use of third party softwares that can help them. we are in a fast paced technology now, no one can stop it nor hinder other people to their desires.

Let's see:

1) to ban something it cannot be achieved by passing legislation (like little children shouting and screaming for attention).  So far we've seen that by passing new laws, launching mock media campaign and spread disinformation did little to affect BTCadoption or progress thereof.

2) strength of an currency is based on the strength of the economy.

3) to stop the economy (2) you have to destroy and acts violently against participant. To enforce and maintain dominance of an particular currency you need mans with gun

4) no amount of violence could solve an math problem.

5) Bitcoin protocol and construct are based on math, to attempt to use violent (4) to halt its use would not gain traction unless you can attack either the user (3) or solve the math "weakens the algorithm which were used to secures bitcoin transactions"

Flight to quality is very difficult to overcome.  Even if nation state bans bitcoin like China did, discovery mechanism will prevail, just like those who broke the great Firewall of China and posts here.

Some countries banned bitcoin but it’s popularity becomes stronger. Exactly it is decentralized that even government cannot control it’s usage. Some prohibited using bitcoin but others follow the rules.

I believe they can ban using Bitcoin. The government has the power to ban the buying and spending of Bitcoin, but they cannot destroy Bitcoin. I do not think that they will ban Bitcoin forever. Sometimes it is their delaying tactics to ban Bitcoin (temporarily), but eventually, they will allow people to use/buy. Whatever the government is planning up to, they still knew that Bitcoin is the future answer to our economic problems right now.

Bitcoin can not and will never be banned, because there are many ways to trade Bitcoin either online, black market, Banks, face to face etc. Government of a country can only restrict the use of Bitcoin but can not ban it. The good news is that many country that go against Bitcoin are now regretting their actions and now investing in it.

Bitcoin cannot be prohibited, as it is an international payment system that depends on each individual user of the Bitcoin network. Each individual user of this network one dealing with this cryptocurrency has a blockchain program installed, which makes him the full owner of his money and the general director of his mini-bank, which is located on his hard drive.

Some countries banned bitcoin before for their own economic reasons but still bitcoin rises above and continued the dominance everyday that some countries realized bitcoin cannot be stopped nor banned that's why they lifted it up and accepted crypto currency as part of economic agendas.

As far as I know, none of the countries have banned the possession of Bitcoin (although there are rumors that India is planning the same). Some of the countries, such as Nepal and Bangladesh have banned the trade of Bitcoin to fiat currency (and vice versa) and they have even arrested some people for breaking the law. But no one has been arrested yet for the possession of Bitcoin.
