The main advantage of the bitcoin is that is the oldest digital currency and has more users. But the other digital currencies are catching up.

The main advantage of bitcoin over all other crypto-currencies is the fact that bitcoin has been there ever since and alt-coins would have not existed in the first place if bitcoin didn't. Also, the trust has been earned already by bitcoins. Unlike bitcoin, altcoins usually become a scam coin after a few weeks or after having a failed project. Bitcoin also has many transactions per second and does not go stagnant after a while.

bitcoin has got power today is because backup from community and the dev, not just from bitcoin community and bitcoin dev itself, but its from all cryptocurrency. they, including us, believe that bitcoin offering one system that different with economical classic that we've known. bitcoin offer to us simple transaction, secure, and anonymous. with bitcoin, we can send from one to many wallet in the same time. and many other benefit that bitcoin will give to us. that's my opinion.

bitcoin is really powerful and stronger and more people adopt the bitcoin in huge amount because bitcoin is very safe and secure and its transaction is very faster and bitcoin is very popular and bitcoin is useful currency .

Bitcoin's power is all coming from trust.
Trust is something very hard to gain. Lots of experiences, years.
Bitcoin stood strong for so long and it never had really huge security problems.

The people will officially accept bitcoin and banks will be left behind. Ultimately the power is always in the hands of the people. Bitcoin is technology that is showing governments' regulations and banks are obsolete. It doesn't matter what laws will try to figure out - it'll happen anyway!

it's because the bank system is almost fucked up and bitcoin is gathering more attention than before, that is why bitcoin will become more powerful in the future, slowly many newcomers will join bitcoin until it become a true currency

I think you are greatly exaggerating the power of Bitcoin, and even more so if taken in the context of the whole "world of money". Let's face the facts (and cut the crap at that), it is no more than a minor aberration in the real world of currencies. Further, if it has to survive, how can it possibly be a power at all? Though I agree that Bitcoin may have some power over other cryptocurrencies...

Bitcoin has power nowadays because it is the father of cryptocurrency. It is the first digital money to be developed and then many got interested into it because it is something new and may be the future of money since almost all the things that we do today can be done online. The government also is not in control with it so people are free to do transactions without restriction because supporting papers are not required to do a certain transaction. There is no age limit also as long as one knows how to use a computer and how bitcoin works then he can do transaction and may be earn from it whereas compared to fiat currency, one can only do such transaction if there are documents to support them and he must be of legal age if he wanted to do a certain transaction especially if its a big amount.

Bitcoin is powerful because it's the first used crypto currency and also because it's having more users to support and advertise it everywhere.

So far as i know Bitcoin is powerful than other crypto currency, because of Bitcoin is first cryptocurrency, before it people didn't know about any crypto currency, also Bitcoin build trust to us, and maintain his reputation in market, so now we see a lot of crypto currencies are here but bitcoin has his own place in all of them, thats why people like it more and use it more.

Totally agree. Bitcoin is just in the process to get power now. It is still not so much known and for people who do not understand or who even do not try to - bitcoin looks like scam. But among other crypto currencies bitcoin is the most powerful and popular.

In the final, final analysis, the success or failure of Bitcoin (or gold and silver) depends on the success or failure of the dominant global imperial system headed by the USA and its Federal Reserve.

It all boils down to: what do people trust for storing their hard-earned wealth?  Dollars and Treasuries which are actively supported by the imperial elites, or alternative, state-free assets?

When the empire rises, it will have power to suppress all non-state assets which competes with its assets.  When the empire is in decline, even its elites have to cultivate non-state assets (as in the re-legalization of gold in the 1970s and the recent legalization of Bitcoin.)  Who knows, one day the elites might have to lean on non-state assets to maintain trust in their own money (in the long tradition of pegging one's money against a stronger one.)

To predict the price of Bitcoin, just keep your ears tuned to the news (including 'alternative' media like ZeroHedge.)  In the last decade, the empire had a disaster in Iraq followed by a major financial crisis.  At this point, social tensions created by economic problems have been pushing US voters to a socialist and Donald Trump (and vassal-state Europe's voters to their 'extremist' candidates and movements.)  The future doesn't look good for The Empire, for now.

As they say, money is ultimately a POLITICAL phenomenon.  Of course, each 'money' has to have certain technical properties, but all of the above mentioned ones qualify.  The rest is left to politics.

Once the prices get more stable there will be more and more people moving into bitcoins.

Because bitcoin IS the revolutionary idea. Not some weak ass copy that serves some particular segment of the crypto economy. Almost all alts are trying to fix some perceived problem that does not exist. For example, Ethierum fixed the problem of banks not having the real power.
