I think it is because it is the first coin. All other crypto currencies are just following how bitcoin moves in the market. Also, because it is the first, the time spent of the coin is more than any other altcoins. Because of this, the value has increased big time way higher than any coins.
The worth of bitcoin aside what has been said is dependent on the value people placed on it. In general the users of a token or coin are the ones who partly decides of the same
BTC and will dominate the market, it has a huge fan base, BTC is trusted by large investors, and there are still no other tokens that can bypass the ego.
Because he is the first, because he is a leader, because the world trusts him. You look at its capitalization and more in it do not hesitate.

In my opinion, I think Bitcoin is superior belong it belongs to the 1st generation of the Blockchain technology and also it has gained so much ground with a higher value that surpasses the rest altcoins.
Simply because it was the first crypto, it introduced the blockchain concept for everyone and in previous years it was the coin leader in new technologies on the blockchain. Currently it is no longer the same but for everyone it is a storage asset

The remaining crypto projects are decentralized only in words. The creator of a particular crypto currency can change the rules at any time, as happened with Ethereum. Therefore, most people trust bitcoin because of its inviolability and the BTC will keep its leadership for a long time.
Bitcoin is known almost all over the world. Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency and belongs to the richest investors. Also its value is limited.
It is the first coin, people who hold it have long term investments, and it is totally decentralized.
