Who can guarantee the confidentiality of our identity will not be misused later? that is the question that arises when doing KYC. no one can guarantee that confidentiality, for that I avoid most if there is KYC. all can differ opinions but I feel KYC deserves to be avoided, until there is a belief that confidentiality can be fulfilled.
What about the KYC blockchain process, I think there is no doubt to do it.
I did it to get xlm, I'm sure my data is safe. You can try it and it's trusted.

What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it  because  people  don't want review their identity  for security  reason  or people  are joining campaign  with bot software ..

Everyone bounty hunter has the right to refuse those KYC implementations because they know that hacking is very rampant in the internet. Even facebook gets down because of hackers so it's very risky to hand out your documents to people you don't know who has it. I know in twitter campaign, there are a lot of fake participants but managers can fix it even without KYC.

not all bounty hunters hate kyc .  like for example me , im also a bounty hunter but i like the purpose of kyc because i see that kyc can help out filter the abusers from the legit one's ( investors/bounty & airdrop participants )  while at the same time kyc owners or the company can protect them selve's against  ilegality  . they did also protect the consumer or the investor against money laundering act/law  .  that's few of what i learn from a kyc  .

I guess I can still be considered a bounty participant, but maybe no longer a hunter because I gave up all the work more than a year ago, deleted all my FB and Twitter content and don't even log on anymore. I'm still on a signature campaign but I'm hoping it's long term and never need to give it up, and I'm happy to promote the service for as long as I use it.

But yeah, like you, I'm not against KYC just for the sole purpose of hating KYC. I personally feel if I'm gambling and giving business to people, they shouldn't need to verify me, but sure, if the business needs to do it to comply with the law, what can I say?

Fraudsters always hate KYC, they are people who have hundreds of fake accounts to cheat campaigns.
I'm sure they don't get a good job. they let their families eat dirt as a result of cheating.

It's so obvious and glaring that majority of bounties hunters are engaging in lots of account to run bounties so therefore making them to hate the kyc of a thing,  if not for the multiple accounts I do not see a reason why someone will hate kyc

I hate KYC because someone steal my data and use it on their own decision. I would like to be assured that my data is in safety and it is all what I want.
What you say is the same as what I think, that after all, the existence of KYC will affect what will happen with the data we send, can our data be justified to be safe in the hands that we may not know? I always try to avoid KYC.

Bounty hunter hates kyc.Because kyc has a lot of trouble. Besides, the team does not accept it even if it has the right information. That's why many hunters will not get their obtained coin  Smiley

Most of experienced/knowledgeable bounty hunters do hate Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements because they know where their information will end up if the bounty campaign they're in is a scam. Of course, these vital information can be sold by scammers to the dark web.

Well I think there are some reasons why bounty hunters should hate kyc, one of them is this: after doing the bounty for several weeks or months and going through the kyc,  their kyc will or might be rejected,  and once it is rejected,  their effort would have gone in vain or no reward. That is really saddening. Now this is just one of the many reasons.

Because many bounty hunter have their own bot farm. For many, it is not a problem to provide their KYC data as they can be bought on the black market at a very good price. These people stay in the project until the end and get their rewards. After that, massively sell everything on the stock exchange and the price of such coins falls in a huge number of times. There are also other bounty hunters who just do not want to provide their personal data to questionable projects. Since these data can get to the black market.

Man cryptocurrencies are anonymous by default, Why do they need our personal data anyway ? In cryptocurrency sphere where 80% of ICO  are scam you have to be cautious who you give your ID especially when you will get small amount $ for that. Think about it.

Indeed there are many people avoiding KYC, as you say because they want to protect their identity for security. The average person who is in Crypto is a person who really maintains their identity for security, because crypto is still vulnerable to misuse of identity so many people are afraid of their identity being misused. Moreover, there are many ICO whose status is unclear and end with a scam, so it is very risky to share their identity on KYC.

Many people don't want to do KYC because they don't want to reveal their personal identities. It is also normal because a decentralized market will bring a lot of risks to participants in any condition.
they just wonder who helped develop the project but need to perform KYC, and they feel it's pretty pointless. then they will think of the project owner taking advantage of their KYC to sell to certain black organizations.

Some hunters hate the KYC system because, so many hunters that have a many alt accounts, and they cannot pass or submit a KYC to that alt.
They can buy KYC from others if they want. So I believe that is not the exact reason for bounty hunters

Some bounty hunters try to cheat by following a bounty with many accounts. This is the reason why a KYC is needed. As for the existence of KYC, a bounty project developer can reduce the risk of fraud. Of course KYC will make the bounty hunter who follows the bounty the right people. This is a good renewal. Know your client or KYC is something that is needed to increase market confidence in an ICO project.

I’m happy to go through Kyc in all the bounty and the more obstacles there will be for the participation of bots and multi-accounts, the more rewards those who are really engaged in this work will have.
