Why can’t you ask for refund if the teacher sucked??

Anybody can ask for a refund... except franky1, of course. Getting the refund, or not getting kicked out just for asking for it, are the tricks.

>This might piss some people off if they are teachers but pretty soon like many of us they will become obsolete if brain chips become a huge phenomena. Imagine learning how to fly a plane in the span of a few days or even a few minutes, depending upon the effective transfer rate to your subconscious mind and/or the chip itself. The flipside is that whoever controls it will control the world as the maker can infer in your mind to buy their products or just flat out become their slave. I guess there isn't much difference with most modern teachers that preach social justice bullshit like CRT, many genders and other crap that isn't STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

this is never gonna happen, human brain are much superior to a piece of chip.

Did you like the music video? Seems you glanced at article about the Elite and what they want to do to humanity in 2030. Now in regards to what you said about the brain chip. I can agree the human mind will always be better than a chip or machine in thinking abstractly. I was referring to the chip as a learning mechanism where it transcribes how to do something or the information contained in a book in an instant directly to your brain rather than using the 5 senses to learn about something.

Maybe that's what potato chips are... chunks of self-assembling brain chips. Tasty to you, the host, but designed to turn you into a controlled zombie. Not the kind of zombie that comes out of the grave, back from the dead. But a warm, loving zombie, that follows their every direction with sincere love (at least on the outside).

Cool

Lol yeah the thing about the prospect of a brain chip is the control aspect and backdoors that can be controlled by the maker much like your Microsoft OS PC or iPhone being manipulated by Microsoft or Apple respectively. If there was some law or mechanism preventing them from controlling your mind then I would think that it would be cool as you could learn whatever you want to know within minutes or seconds such as flying a specific plane or helicopter or programming a complicated language.

Lol, this is a funny one @OP. You know, a friend of mine not just him though but, he often makes a joke with this at times. While we are discussing and then, a question is thrown at someone and the person fails or perhaps is unable to provide solution as expected especially fir a cheap question, he would be like "Please go get your tuition fees back",more like, your educationist is faulty or your educationist never did a good job, lol. We all laugh at it and it's all good.
It was something funny and seeing it here doesn't make it less funny to me but ill tell you of an experience that could actually put your teacher always in the right as to why you can't get a refund.

While in high school,  we were being examined by a professor and the exams question was so tough that, we had to complain after we had elapsed our timing at the examination hall and it was all done. When we reported to our head of department, she asked just one question.
Did you guys attempted any of the questions at all? We answered Yes! Then she said,
It meant he taught and we understood a thing or two or someone amongst us did so, its not the prof's fault that we were much unserious and  the exams would not be reset again and that, had it been we didn't put anything down in writing, it could have easily be termed the prof's fault. After hearing this, we all left unhappy and worried.

So, your teacher might always be in the right of someone actually follows especially when majority of the class do. His not a bad teacher, his just not the teacher for you.

I remember one of my class during my college. I think the subject was college Algebra or higher type of Math. Our teacher doesn't really teach well and you know what.
Despite being always in the class, only a few of my classmates passed. He didn't taught well and yet had the guts to fail us.  Grin

Funny but actually this scenario is happening worldwide. You can give poor rating when you fill-up the students' feedback, if you have any. Because in our university, after the end of semester, you will fill-up the Student Evaluation of your Teachers. That's when you have the opportunity to give your feedback to every class you had for the sem. And the incentives of the Prof will depend on that survey. But of course, you can't refund the tuition fee that you paid already.  Tongue Don't know if there are universities or schools that will let you refund if you are not satisfied with their teachings.
I think I've filled up that type of form and many of us gave him a low rating which is a fact. And I think that he knew it very well because most of us are dissatisfied with the way he taught us.
You can only refund when you haven't started yet but if you're already in the class, it's now the money of the school or university.  Grin

You can reimburse for services and goods. But why can’t you file a refund claim for poor teaching?
They tell you if you loss money for attending a investment class, you are supposedly to pay for tuition fee. I say your class suck balls, now I want the refund! You won’t stop organising garbage class when nobody ask for refund, you assume your student are satisfied with your lesson!!
this is the reason why you should find out in advance the track record of the school or institution you want to enter...

this has become an invisible condition, you can't just ask for money back after you officially become their student. just give up your money and just move to another place when the teacher at that place is very bad even though it will incur other costs because your time is valuable.

>I think the subject was college Algebra or higher type of Math. Our teacher doesn't really teach well and you know what.
I say teacher today are very much entitled, and privileged, their jobs are pretty much the most lowly intelligent task, what they did is just take a book and present everything written inside the books which is written by another professors, I mean how can it be even difficult when their jobs are just blindly follow the books?? How is that intelligent when all you do is copy from the book? I think it’s a job for the monkey.

>Despite being always in the class, only a few of my classmates passed. He didn't taught well and yet had the guts to fail us
all of the teacher has some personal vendetta, they didn’t really deserve to be teacher, they treat student just like livestock, ready to be milked to empty.

yeah try that if you have balls deep to give a poor feedback, all your name are include into the feedback, they know well who is the student who are against the teaching they provided, there is no anons option when giving feedback, yup they want to lure out bad actor in you all.

>Because in our university, after the end of semester, you will fill-up the Student Evaluation of your Teachers. That's when you have the opportunity to give your feedback to every class you had for the sem.
you give high rating, because you’re bribed to do so, do not need to refute further.

>And the incentives of the Prof will depend on that survey. But of course, you can't refund the tuition fee that you paid already.
that’s how they wouldn’t hesitate to ask for pay raise, and you all would still be naive student and pay the exorbitant price.

>Don't know if there are universities or schools that will let you refund if you are not satisfied with their teachings.
you would definitely get into headline to get the teacher to refund you. I mean it is ground breaking news!

>>
>What were you forced into some "social justice class"? CRT anyone? If this person was trying to teach you a STEM course but underdelivered then I can understand your frustration. As someone else said if you can rate them give this person a low rating and they won't be teaching or at least teaching that course for long (if they are "tenured").
asking for refund is some of the less frustrating attempt, say you get a bad services, what would you do, doxx the damn business, put the business into instant fame by viral marketing the bad service to the entire internet, that would also mean the end for the career as a teacher.

That's a good idea and I never heard someone who does this kind of thing because it will be a huge disrespect for the teachers. I mean, if you don't want to attend their schools, why don't you enroll in a different one with a high rate of passing students on the license exams. that way you won't need to ask whether the teachers are good or crooks. you have the records if you want to know. they mostly list that record every time they show the result of the exam. you can check for that before enrolling in their schools.

First of all, before teaching, a person should find out if the teaching program is accredited/licensed or not. If it is not, you can ask for a refund and that would be logical. But if it is accredited/licensed, then asking for refund is doubtful. The standards of teaching program are checked and approved by committee. They run statistics and make teaching standard/average for everyone, for the mass. Genius will find it boring, those who are narrow minded will have difficulties, but most will pass. If a person listened to the material and still has question or dont understand, he should have asked.

You know, that only in school were taught something. Everything else is self education, where you can ask your teacher if you dont understand something.

You have mentioned "investment class". What is this? You have listened to something and now you think that every investment in your life will be profitable?

>If you also happen to take a course and get taught some Marxist propaganda, that's apparently a feature now a days too, not a flaw.
the damn school even organize religion class for you and mandate it’s you as a student to attend the class or risk your life get ruined.

So is this a Christian college that your parents are forcing you to attend? If the school itself advertises that they have a theology slant to them then this is the only way to be the case. The reason being is due to many states and local governments telling that theology cannot be taught in Public schools. Therefore, unless the college or school advertises that they teach with a Christian slant then you will most likely not have this taught to you unless you choose to take a theology class.

The elite have noticed that the poor are taking out loans educating themselves. Many people are encouraging other people to go to college. Supply and demand much like the lack of bitcoin, this has raised the price of tuition which means administrators and professors can make obscene amounts of money. Furthermore, the elite have told their professor/admin lowers what to teach people and have poisoned the well of higher education. They did this to affect those same poor people taking out loans hoping for a higher education and better life. The poison you may ask (and already know) is Marxism-masked as socialism (ever see how awful it is in Venezuela under it?), Critical Race Theory (and you think I'm a conspiracy theorist? they are re-writing history with crap), gender fluidity (why don't you take hormones: if you are a man you are a woman if you are woman then you are a man don't have kids is the point), and other nonsense that gets people nowhere. Its like Mr. Garrison from South Park is an allegory to this when I thought he was just an obscene joke that would not exist in this world. I corrected your spelling of organize. You must learn to use the knowledge of cheating or giving yourself an edge to get ahead in this world. Just as I used Brave's spell check to change your spelling with a right-click. Speaking of South Park:

Anyway "spotting-brainwashing" education aside for today, what is it you are going to school for? Hopefully, it is STEM related and not some worthless degree pursuit that keeps a rich kid in school akin to a daycare for adults till they can work for mommy and daddy or their friends. Or was this some cheesy scam course online that advertised returns and a possible refund if it did not meet expectations? There are many of these out there but try to learn this stuff on your own as there is much free content out there.

You can't ask for it legally because they taught you what they know and if you believe that they don't have enough knowledge then go and raise a complaint aginst their organization or company or whatever they run and take this to legal side but you are going to consume lot of time and money to prove them they are wrong to get something very small in return that is why nobody is asking for it.

you think there would be no retaliation? The school may hire hitman to exterminate you for damages, or make your life a hell at the minimum.

Because with goods it's so much easier. If something doesn't work - it's only the manufacturer's (or distributor's) fault, in case you didn't break anything and, in such case, there's no reimbursement.

With teaching there are two sides: either the teacher is bad or the student isn't trying hard. And in many cases the latter is true. Also, there's no reimbursement in the case of official governmental organizations because it's their responsibility to hire qualified personnel so that most students will be taught well. In case they don't - the reputation will be damaged with bad reviews (like yours), and no one wants that.

I know that if you buy training/online courses and something of the sort from private organizations sometimes there's an option to get a refund if you're not satisfied with the teaching and the end result, but with schools and universities, it's different.

The main position is that you're free to choose wherever you want to study, so if you made the choice yourself - you only have yourself to blame for not getting what you wanted, because making better research on the place would probably unveil some hidden pitfalls.
