The idea is great, but I don't think alot of people are going to be using the lending system, since the rates won't be phenomenal

Was having a lot of high expectations from SALT.
but its dumping a lot from past few days

Have faith yet it has still not dipped below its bottom. Until this happens I would say there is no reason to be concerned. Also the hands that are dumping are certainly the weak hands and you know

it because otherwise the market would be a lot lower than 89k sats. The true strength of SALT will show in the coming weeks, hodl strong and you shall be rewarded handsomely.

Dear SALT Members,

SALT Security
In an effort to improve our security, SALT is implementing Three-Factor Authentication (3FA) for the Withdraw feature, consisting of:

Password protected accounts
Two-step verification codes
Email confirmations

Avoid Phishing
The FinTech community is prone to phishing schemes. Please exercise caution when opening emails. Some of our members may be targets.

Phishing is a type of online scam that targets consumers by sending them an email that appears to be from a well-known source – an ISP, a bank, or an ICO, for example. It asks the consumer to provide personal identifying information. Then a scammer uses the information to open new accounts or invade the consumer’s existing accounts. There are several tips that consumers can follow to avoid phishing scams, such as not responding to e-mails or pop-up messages that ask for personal or financial information. You can read more about phishing schemes here. Please exercise caution when opening emails. Here are some simple steps you can take to ensure a safe online experience:

Make sure that links go to the address (URL) it claims.
Always scan every attachment before opening.
Never give out any personal/account information, or passwords.

If you ever experience any suspicious activity regarding your account, please let us know at [email protected].

I'm also an owner of Veritaseum and love that project. LAToken looks promising to. Two good tokens but not the same as SALT and their lending oracle.

Another one that is like SALT is ETHLend.io but their outstanding will be 1 billion tokens and they won't be up and running until next year.

Say what you will about Voorhees but I'm glad he's on our team.

Nothing to do with Voorhees personally whatsoever.

With asset tokenization, anyone can seek financing too.
If I want funding, I can tokenize some of my asset for money.
I don't need to go for SALT.

you might quickly realize SALT project is already obsolete even before the rubber meets the road.

Obsolete compared to what?

Please elaborate...

Did I not make the comparison already in exactly the same sentence?

You need to get a hold of yourself.

Did you even read the white paper before you invested.

This is a lending platform not a currency.

If the automatic lending oracle works and a few big banks announce their involvement it's SALT to the moon.

 Grin

If you objectively compare SALT to other much better alternatives like Veritaseum, LAToken, etc that are into asset tokenization, you might quickly realize SALT project is already obsolete even before the rubber meets the road.

When I was staring at the screen, asking myself whether I should join the ICO when it was still selling for $1.50, I already foresee similar outcome as you guys are now experiencing, and I ended up not participating. A very good decision when looking back in retrospect. First, I don't need to tell the SALT team who I am (no need to submit ID for verification bullshit). Second, I don't need to buy stupid membership to withdraw. No doubt I missed the trading profits right after it gets listed, but I seriously don't want to be always buying and selling all the time. I rather go for something worthy of holding for much longer term.

Market is correcting the BS, SALT devs have done by bringing it's price down to where it should have been. Hopefully it will go all the way down to $0.25 -0.50 cents, it's true value.
DEVs really did fuck everything up with sneaky tactics to give SALT at rock bottom prices to their dear friends & family, so it serves them right to hold salt token, and trade between themselves.
After reading this thread, it is clear that this platform offers nothing useful to ordinary investor plus with the release of similar platforms that values FAIRNESS in it's distribution, SALT sure is left behind IMHO.
Anyone who wants to get on this bandwagon should realise that this token is being controlled by greedy devs, fanboys and whales.

hmmmm.  That may be so.  But aren't all cryptos controlled by devs, fan boys, and whales?

I was in the group that got some at 10 dollars.  I should have done more research into the platform.  But after doing so, I think that SALT could hit 10 dollars.  I would have also sold if I could have gotten some at less than a dollar.  Pretty much a no brainer.

My question for SALT is:  How in the hell does the marketcap go straight up from 159 M to 237 M while the price has decreased by 30 percent?  Can somebody be dumping tokens into circulation from somewhere for some odd reason?  I don't get it ---> what in the Sam Hell is going on here?  Scammers getting out or what?  How do tokens mysteriously appear out of nowhere?  How can that be legitimate?  Look at the chart between the 4th and the 5th of October ----> https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/salt/ <----normal??

Previously coinmarketcap only showed the amounts withdrawn from the SALT sale platform as circulated supply.
Now, it's shows the correct amount of circulated supply based on the tokens sold during the various tiers, around 54.6 million tokens.

Also, somebody dumped SALT all the way down to 0.002 eth on liqui.io right around the same time as the big upward mysterious marketcap spike----> https://liqui.io/#/exchange/SALT_ETH <----  is that just a coincidence?  Something's very fishy here....distribution weird....marketcap weird....platform weird.  And, because of that, I lost half my role between yesterday and today!
