Its easy and very affordable, that's why many people are relying on this kind of gambling. I have to be honest here, and my Father always play lottery he won many times but not that much enough for him to buy another ticket for the next few days. The jackpot is very hard to win, you have to be very lucky for sure. Many people becomes addict on lottery, its a bad thing but they are still hoping for their luck one day.

Yup convenience is the biggest factor. And lotteries are also legal and way more regulated than the gambling industry as a whole. Besides that it doesn't really have the negative connotations that being associated with gambling could bring.

And not to forget about the huge time-saving lottery tickets are when say.. compared to a round of poker.

Well, I'm lucky that I don't have that kind of mindset. People are just greedy and always thinking the easy way. I'm more about practical ways so I don't want to recommend this method. Being a winner on a lottery is very impossible because it has a low probability of winning and there are many people who bet on the lottery.

Just save your money to something important than betting on the lottery every day. Think about it, that money that you've invested in the lottery for how many years, imagine how much is that?

That is why is called what is called, gambling.
You are not a gambler, that's why you would see it that way. For a gambler, the imagination is what to do with the winning and not thinking about 49% chance or lower chances to win.

Yes it has a low chance of winning but it has the highest price of all the gambling games. The chances of winning in lottery is close to zero but its not impossible to win on it. I would choose not to bet on lottery because of the odds of winning. Maybe I can get a profit in a different way and using smaller amount of money to get it. Lottery is just pure luck so if you are destined to win then good Cheesy

How does it feel when you buy a lot of lottery tickets and still you do not win. The money invested in all those lottery tickets is just wasted. That's the reason I hate the lottery system because the chances of winning are too less or rather you can say it is impossible to win.

Not all the lottery tickets are useless and not all of them are baseless actually this is luck based I know some of them are scammers who only cheat people and sell blank. So we should only remain careful while investing in lottery so there will be earning instead of lose and then you will again trust lottery investment.

There are many reasons for that.

People can't count. They don't understand that while they have 50% chance in a dice game and the reward is double or nothing their chance of winning a lottery is less than 0.1%. All they can see is the reward which can be 1000x their lottery ticket. It doesn't matter that the chances are low all that matters is the zeroes in that reward.

Buying a ticket is much easier than playing a casino game or betting on sports.

People can get stuck on the idea of betting for a lottery, some people buy far too many tickets for a reasonable game. However the reason its not especially addictive overall is the wait involved in the result, so you buy and must wait upto a week.
The best time to buy lottery tickets is usually on the rollover, thats the only time I'm slightly tempted when the prize goes up vs the purchase price then in theory its gets to be slightly better value. The odds arent any better and my chances just as remote hence I dont see its addictive at all - ironically its a positive I agree.

Yes lottery is usually associated with the poor but like I mentioned, they'll just pick the smallest they can bet. If they find the official lottery still expensive they'll play the cheaper illegal ones (though I consider those really shady, there's no proof that the games are fair). Lotto (at least where I live) tend to attract people across the board. Especially when jackpot hits a certain amount, you see lines of cars near lotto outlets.

Odd as it may seem but lottery could also be very addictive. It does not seem so because of the very tiny probability of winning. However, as it has already happened to several people, one could actually be obsessed with the jackpot price that it becomes a practical goal, however impossible it seems. There are a lot of people who got hooked up to lottery so badly that they spend huge amounts in betting as many combinations as possible. Only to end up lost every time. Gambling, whatever game it may be, could actually ruin us.

I treat lottery just like you do, only for the sake of having that tiny chance to get instant enormous wealth. We both know it is only luck that would take us to that point. But to others, it is much different.

Random does not make it difficult, maybe you should just say it’s too much based on luck and this is even the most reason why many choose lottery. As a gambler I choose a type of game that I can win, I mean that I have a good chance of winning and that is not lottery.
Lottery is fun because you don't loss a lot but you can't focus on it due to the reason mentioned above, if I have to give up a type of game, I would give up lottery and just focus on sports betting as based on my experience, I can win this game and I can be consistent sometimes.

People loved to play lottery and nevermind for any possible losses that might happen to their betting investments. The expectations also is big as they're hoping to win for good prizes, and most importantly the jackpot amount. Most fiat lottery offers that promises but the chances for the bettors were less. Same kind of thing in crypto lottery chances also is very low.

Simply because lottery has the biggest jackpot prize, based on my experience that doesn't cost too much. Although your probability of being a victim of lightning is higher than hitting tha jackpot combination in a lottery, people still give a shot since the ticket prize doesn't make them regretful. Another factor is also its legality as it's supported by government in some countries thus people won't worry much even though they are gambling enthusiast or not.

That could have gone along way if spent in another form of investment but that is your aunts way of entertaining herself, she is happy doing it.
