Actually government agree that bkockchain technology is usefull, if government do not find any threat from bitcoin for their state currency then they will allow bitcoin to exist. Anyway bitcoin will always exists.

It's possible somewhat, but as you said the potential for bitcoin is really huge which is the blockchain technology, there's governments who took advantage from bitcoin. Governments were not stupid to ignore the potential from bitcoin, as long as they can make profits they wont let it go

They are afraid that banks would become useless in the future thus they would'nt be earning money from the banks. Banks provides our government somehow big shares in taxes.
