That is a whole lot of government revenue that they would miss if done illegally. That's impossible. People exchanged it with fiat or anonymously as well. Anti-government types will still use it. Regardless, there is no real reason why they would make the BTC illegal anyway.

Lack of control over transactions that are made with cryptocurrencies scare both the governments and the banks. Cryptocurrencies are transferred thourgh peer to peer networks, and these processes make a lot of transactions occur on such platforms. Moreover, this transactions elude taxes that the government and banks would have imposed. This makes them lose funds that they could have generated through taxing all those transactions. This is evident in the fact that virtually all countries have their major source of funds from imposition of taxes on numerous business transactions and deals.

It's possible for governments to find a way out to accommodate legalizing cryptocurrencies rather than banning its operations. There are certainly great ways to make the cryptocurrencies work to favour every stakeholders.

I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?

As I can see the governments did not legalize the bitcoin because they see the bitcoin as a threat for them. We all know that bitcoin has no taxes so the bicoin will be legal there’s a lot of people will depend on bitcoin than the other job which you will pay taxes. And there is no tax payers the government fund will also also. Alao itvis threat for the banks because those interest for the banks will given into bitcoin.

At one time, Bitcoin will prove to everyone how useful it is to us. This is illegal in many countries. But many countries make it legal. They love Bitcoin. Their country started as a legal currency. So we think that soon Bitcoin is going to be introduced as the legal currency of other countries. Bitcoin has a bright future. It will not be destroyed Grin

I think  banking system from cryptocurrencies is only a small part of the upcoming reform. After all, there are already projects based on blockchain, which provide banking services for cryptocurrencies.

because in some countries bitcoin is considered beneficial and helps the country's economy, so in some bitcoin countries are not illegal

First of all, it helps people to earn money and be independent of the government. Government and politics still want to help or to your money in their pockets.

Because some governments find bitcoin helpful in their nation, it help some people in their society to find income even they have no job. Some governments ban bitcoin because they used bitcoin for illegal acts.

On what legal grounds?

Maybe in a totalitarian communist regime bitcoin can be made illegal, but in the free world a legal case would need to be made. I have never heard one, have you?

You don't need to live in a totalitarian and communist regime to experience banning of something. In EU for example, laws have been voted to ban glyphosate (Monsanto Roundup) use for example. In some countries of the free world some gov's plan to make the use of a bicycle with helmet illegal so why not BTC ? If a government judges it as a tool for money laundering they can decide to vote a law to make its use illegal.
Bitcoin is full of risks involved, starting from the virtual presence without a physical state to the risk of hacking. When a central controlled investment scheme goes as a scam, the people complain and the government take necessary action. With bitcoin lost is lost forever one can't raise it as an issue anywhere else. This makes governments stay away from bitcoin.

Well for me the answer is simple, the governments worldwide know that they cannot just ban something as big as and as awesome as Bitcoin. Especially now that Bitcoin has changed a lot of lives already, the whole world knows about it and most of the people are utilizing it already as a means of earning and investing. Governments would not want to look bad in the eyes of those people who are working and earning through Bitcoin.

Beyond the difficulties presented by the decentralization of bitcoin itself, governments and regulatory bodies have shown they lack understanding of technological topics, and bitcoin is one of the most complex. As governments struggle to ban technologies like Tor and encryption, it seems impossible.

the government will never be able to, because already many people support bitcoin and use the current bitcoin and bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and crypto can not be regulated by the government. Bitcoin is also the best asset to invest in and many people use it to help the economy

There seem to be so many issues of the government and bitcoin issues here. I don't know why much attention is being payed to governments and their concerns with bitcoin. I my country, I hardly hear of the government talking about issues of bitcoin. Well, governments believes that the coin helps fund terrorism and scams in some countries. Probably, that is one of the reasons. Beside, bitcoin raises a hell lot of amount from the economy, yet transactions are not taxed.

There may be some reasons but if I think the government is very difficult to make regulations about the use of bitcoin transactions. So it will be the consideration of every government in a country.

It's very early to talk about governments adopting bitcoin.
Not making it illegal is a win right now.

Government don't make bitcoin legalized because they can't manipulate it.

Bitcoin can be used for money- laundring thus it is a great tool for criminal. Governments are afraid of it, but banning bitcoin is not a good idea, they cannot prevent people from using this anonymous currency

Btc is illegal in certain country because it is used by some people for illegal transactions. The governments bans bitcoin because they knew it some kind of money laundering, and sometimes btc is being used in illegal drugs and other illegal actions.

Always different responses from every government in another country. They thought of making a bad case for their country in the presence of Bitcoin.

The Protocol for the Audience Economy
Because BTC is not just a government regulation, they are widely spread around the world. So maybe some countries accept and some countries do not. So there is no reason why the BTC is banned all over the world.
