i can use it like cash, making my transaction almost untraceable, to be free and will not  accountable for a transactions conducted with  accounts.this is really a free world, but the government is interested in receiving money from the population and this is not profitable for them.

Most people will ignore banks for financial transactions if bitcoin is  legalized.

Different government has different point of view some think it is profitable for the nation so they make it legal and some find it risky so they ban it.

I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?

Bitcoin system has iy flaws. The value is very volatile and sometimes a big drop occurs. I think the government is just cautious on bitcoin to be legalised. They are always concern of the people safety and the security of there money.

I think the thing that make government don't make BTC illegal Worldwide because of they believe that it is a good Technology. Also, the thing that make it illegal is not because of the bitcoin, but the way you use bitcoin as an user. When you use it to do Money loundrying or buy some drugs and so on, it means that you are that doing something illegal, not the bitcoin.

bitcoin is based on internet and it is hard to ban or illegalize all because miners got it by mining and nothing wrong or illegal they are doing. solving math problems are not illegal.

Because some government believe that bitcoin in their country will be a big thing that can of course help them to grow up their economy. Many people use bitcoin nowadays because of its different and very unstable value that can make your money big.

Because the technology of the blockchain is trying to implement financial sector activities. And blockchain technology in some cases is very profitable compared to current data processing technologies.

People are still having a lack of trust in bitcoin. We dont have an example of positive conclussion, that would be visible for everybody. i.e. if some countries will be already using BTC.

I think government do not make bitcoin illegal worldwide because there are some country that accepting bitcoin. Actually they said that they do not ban it because they still hoping to control bitcoin.

Governments don't make Bitcoin illegal because they adapting the blockchain technology in several institutions functions, how come they can ban or declare illegal of bitcoin with same function technology . maybe they bring regulations or can impose any tax or any rules for the trading purpose of buying or selling to avoid money laundering issues from exchanges, thats why all exchanges ask for KYC . maybe  some rules to bring bitcoin as legal in the global world because of financial activities can happen beyond the  boundaries.

The whole world is not yet united . So reaching on a particular decision together is impossible right now. Also there are some countries which are very developed and if will make BITCOIN illegal in their country,it would not affect their growth. But on the other side, there are some countries which are still developing and take BITCOIN and CRYPTOCURRENCY as a way of development.

It is not possible because governments around the world are not the same. There are different perspective of different government to the world and adoption of cryptocurrencies. Businesses are improved and opportunities arise around the world of cryptocurrencies. It favours some government, does not favour and makes no difference to some.

Yes they all have different understanding about bitcoin and its use, also there are some countries that don't mind bitcoin now as there are many main problems that needs to be solve first.

No government has the right to ask the government of another country to recognize a currency as legal or illegal.it could eradicate corruption if it is being implemented in a government system.

bitcoin isnt directly a threat to banks, and its not like bitcoin will rob a bank. bitcoin and cypto can be a way to make the society a better place and a profitable one. i dont think making yourself your own bank is bad, it is safer and much better in that way. bitcoin isnt a storage for money though.

Because they give a push to really useful ideas and products that can support the improvement of the economic sector. Accordingly, if it is beneficial to the government, they will support unconditionally, so many countries have adopted bitcoin, such as it well influences economic performance.

It is. But things might've get worse if they did because, you know, they just can't prevent people doing crypto. Of course, crypto wouldn't be so global but the illegalness of it wouldn't do any good.

Why would they? Contrary to the beliefs of conspiracy theorists, not all governments are evil. A lot of them do care for the welfare of their citizens.
