I used to enjoy watching it in crowded places as a much younger person years back but this day I just watch it at home with fam. I guess it has to do with my new perspective to life now as against what it was then. Sometimes those arguments and screams at viewing centres are unnecessary distractions for me. Some do result to insults. That's not my thing.

Again, most of those matches are played well into the night. I don't like exposing myself to night movement, especially with the rate of insecurity in my state and country. So, watching it indoors is the perfect thing for me as it's now.

That's right guys, the main goal is to watch our own favorite team but another positive value is that we can get pleasure, joy, and excitement from the gathering that is done. We know that when we grow up the cycle of friendship sometimes becomes less so that the gathering becomes something that is quite desired by some people like myself.
Sometimes even because of the excitement of the gathering that is done it can make you forget that the main goal is to watch a football match, this is ridiculous but it is clearly very exciting.

It seems that this is one of the activities that is indeed liked by most men around the world.

There is a thrill that comes with viewing football matches in a viewing center. It comes with a mix feeling depending on what side you’re fanning or what might be your expectations. Mind you, you don’t really watch all games because your fanning a team but could as well watch just to see them fall because, they rival your team or you don’t enjoy seeing them where they are on the league table.

Viewing centers have got a lot of updates and you find better ways or perspectives to watch the game. The noise, the excitement, the tension, it’s more intense and you could have someone jump on you or you jump on someone at any point, having to see other people’s reaction to the action, it all makes the game come alive.

Men prefer to watch football in a viewing center because it's more fun and entertaining... there's a football centre close to where I live , despite the fact that my DStv subscription is always updated I constantly go out to watch football in that center...I find it interesting to communicate with people and bring up some fun arguments while watching the game...I don't think a beer parlour is quite idea because alcohol can affect your coordination and concentration, how can you focus on the game when your cognitive reasoning is been disrupted.

Watching a match in a crowd is more exciting, physical contact and communication with friends certainly makes us happier, plus there are other friends who support the opposing club, of course it is very exciting, everyone also prefers watching in a crowd rather than watching alone, very few people don't like it

I think one of the reason is for fun, there is alot of joke and fun when watching football in a view center I discovered that watching football all alone can be boring.
I remember leaving my house during the 2008 champions league finals between Manchester United and Chelsea we already have DStv showing that match but I decided to watching it in a view center where I can get more fun and celebrate with other fans out there, and the most interesting matches to watch in the viewing center are matches that involves big team playing together.

But there is disadvantage of watching football matches in the viewing center as it mostly end up opposite fans in hall fighting and quarrel when there is a misunderstanding between fans in the viewing center.

There are people who does not care what to do or what to watch, as they only want to sneak from home or are bored to hang out at home all the time. Even a curling match becomes a thrilling game when watching with beer, snack and friends in the bar Answering OP question, some lie that they prefer to watch football in the bar, they just want not to be home alone. When I was much younger, I guess while studying in university, I signed for any activity just not to be home or study

They will finds excitements when they can watch football together with their family or friends. That will be different when they just watch football alone because that can not gives fun or excitement that they want. They will feels empty and no other people around them so they can not discuss about the match. When they watch football with other people, they can feels a different atmosphere because they can shout loud with them and enjoy the moment. That will not happen if they watch the match alone because they will be boring without anyone besides them. But watching football in a stadium is too crowded and sometimes that can makes us can not feels comfortable.

Yes, in many countries is also have the same things as what happens in our country. But maybe there will be a different situation than what they gets and that is normal. When we can watch football with our family or friends, we can feels the excitement of the match so we will have a good moment because we can spends our time with them.

Buying drinks and snacks is a must that we do because that will gives more good moments to us. Even if our team lost against the opponent, we will not feels too regret because other people will say that will not be a problem. Our team will beat the opponent in the other matches.

I'm not a big fan of football. And I wonder why that beautiful sport isn't embraced well in my country, but I also enjoyed watching live games in a sports bar, or not necessarily a sports bar but in a place where there's live telecast and some beer and your friends. Drinking with a group and watching live games, especially when you've made bets, are beautiful moments to be cherished.

It often happens to me on Sundays when there's a good boxing match or during NBA playoffs. 

This is actually our way of gathering but by enjoying the exciting match, I am sure in any part of the country there are young men or men who do this because surely in every country there are those who like football. We can do things like this and even do it to relieve stress, gathering with friends while enjoying the atmosphere has an interesting and exciting impression, I myself often do it because this is like an activity that must be done if there is a match that will take place excitingly.
Don't forget to buy drinks and snacks to add to the excitement of gatherings like this, I myself sometimes do it by buying drinks and snacks even though the money is not enough but we put all the money we have together and enjoy it together. This is more exciting than imagined.

Men like to be in an atmosphere with other men enjoying sports for lots of reasons. The discussions, the poking fun at fans of the other team, the bets, the celebrating, the jokes, the sharing of information. Perhaps most important, they want to be around other people who enjoy the same thing so they can feel like they have other people joining in on their hobby.

Watching football matches in viewing centers is very interesting because you would come across different fans with their own opinion and analysis of match played, some would share their views about players of their favorite team for instance those players that played well and those needed to be substituted all these comes with counter arguments from fans of the same club which I think is very interesting of which when watching at home would be very boring, interestingly some of these fans would even predict how the manager would substitute a player and who to play etc.

I guess this changes with all of us over the years... When I was younger, I went to stadiums and cheered on my favorite teams and the national team. But as I enter my forties I don't remember the last time I was in a stadium, I don't like crowds like I used to... I prefer a calmer atmosphere and discussion with people who understand the game.

So I will take a middle ground with this one... beer for sure, but at some private place with just a few of us. Everything above 3-4 is a crowd...

That's because we're men. When gals appreciate their friends through watching over a concert overnight, that's how they're enjoying. Whilst us men, we do enjoy together the games that we want to watch with our friends as well. No need for long talks but just some pure fun, enjoyment and sharing of the moments supporting the games that we're watching. Aside from ice cold beer, don't forget about pizza party that everyone loves to have while watching.

Lol. The beer parlor part sounds hilarious. I guess the reason why people enjoy watching football outside their living rooms is simply because of the fun that comes with  having crowd of fans around them. Football games are naturally games that requires cheering from fans to the players hence the reason why the stadium is designed to accommodate crowds who form as the fans motivating their respective teams on pitch. Likewise, there's a joy that comes with when you watch football in a good of people as many people enjoy to listen to others opinions regarding the gameplay as well as the carjoling part and the making fun of the losing team. These are the reasons why men love to watch football games in viewing Centres and like you say, beer parlor.

Many things involved in which men prefer public places to watch football than their house or in the private places because. If there is no electricity in the city or community and they don't have funds to buy fuel or gas to start their personal generators. And some people like to watch with their friends today outside to avoid distractions at home. But I like to watch with friends at home because watching alone is too boring.

Obviously watching it in a beer parlour is more exciting than watching it alone.

Watching it alone is a different feeling. While we can still enjoy it in peace but the fun is greater when we have a company.

Same here. The vibe and the atmosphere when you are with fans is just incomparable and unmatched. The energy from everyone watching will most likely pass on to you making the match even more exciting. Maybe it is more of a question of are you an introvert or an extrovert, no?

Either way I think we all should experience watching a match with other fans preferably if we were in the stadium as well. I would love to watch a live match.

Aside the fun you get while watching with other football lovers in a sports joint or viewing centre the argument is one of the interesting things that makes people to prefer to watch matches outside their home because they will not argue as mush as they wish when they are in their house and to them they will not have enough fun. The viewing centre is always mixed up with different supporters of different clubs so when you watch matches there you will have the opportunity to discuss with other people and share your opinion about the teams and the players who may not be doing so well in the team.
