Hello thank you for saying you won't be worried about the views of others. Mostly Muslims get pissed you criticize their religion.
I don't hate Islam, but I think there is something very wrong with this religion which was noticed in the seventh century.
1. I don't believe in the prophet of Islam. His life history was so weird. A man was a sexual addict so He deceived people in the in the name of revelations and got married to more than 10 wives.
2. A man who didn't have mercy on a 12 year old girl and got married to her.
3. A man who was confident enough, in the name of revelation married his adopted sons wife. That is so weird.
4. The prophet promoted war, even in his so called revelation. He instructs his followers to murder people outside the faith. Example 9:29 of the Quaran.

There are a lot of wrong things about this man, I wish you can calm your heart down and study about Islam very, especially listen to criticizes as well.

May not be 100%. But close to 99%. We have terrorists from Christian and Oriental religions. There are even Jewish terrorists, such as Yigal Amir and Baruch Goldstein. But there is a serious gap between the 99% and 1%.

First of all, I do not hate Islam. I am just answering the question for those people who hate Islam to realize how shallow and baseless their hate is. As I know and bases on what I have observed, some people hate Islam because it is different from what they think is 'right', and people hate what they don't understand. Islam's culture, tradition, and beliefs is way far unlike any others' and that is what people hate. They think that they are right and they are the only one that has the truth or is the truth. Moreover, the media sensationalized news and mislead people by exposing biased truths and information about Islam that makes unwanted. Some people were brainwashed by these, hence hating Islam.

Hi, I dont hate Islam, but if i am being totally truthful I am sick of seeing and hearing about it in the media! That dosent mean I hate it by the way, i think people are (thankfully) allowed to believe what ever they want to believe in without fear of prejudice or assumption one way or another. To be totally honest, i am not a fan of religion at all, I find it fascinating that people still believe this stuff that was written all these years ago! Cheesy

I will leave you with this: imagine there was no religion, and suddenly someone in this day and age started saying they were a god or a prophet or son of god etc, what would be the outcome i wonder???

I am a christain and offcourse i dont hate islam, i know a few things about islam and i also understand that islam is a religion of peace. But the reason i think the haters of islam hate islam is what the followers or believers of islam turned it to. Like i heard that in islam the numbers of souls you take in the name of Allah determines your reward in heaven. We also have terrorist group like alqada, isis boko haram etc coming out to commit attrocities in the name of Allah and islam. There is the issue of the 9 11 attack on the united states and world trade centre, these terror attacks can only be attributed to one religion ISLAM, not CHRISTAINS, not BHUDAISM but islam.

People dont hate Islam, we as a Christian as per my knowledge we Respet Islamic religion. Because we are Menand we all fall short to the Glory of God nothing to hate about each other. As far As I know there are 2 type of Islam if i am not mistaken which usually initiates war and hate.but I think all religions have something like that also. In general Everone ahould always Give repespect to all people Catholic, christian or Islam

Those who know a lot about Islam and those who have first hand experience in living together with the Muslims are more likely to take a negative stand against Islam. The people don't hate Muslims, for the most of them don't even know what it is. It is just a built enemy in order to legitimatize invasions and wars against some other people which aren't even Muslims, by the way.
If you point out something and convince the people for it to be the enemy, the worst thing in the face of the earth and then you describe them towards a religion, then the sheep will follow. The people need an enemy. They don't want to see their own rulers as an enemy, so they make another one. And, of course, if you convince a country's population about the idea of a thread, even when it is based on a big lie, or have no arguments, they will see the government as the great protector, and all the military spent as something "necessary"...
So no, people do not hate Muslims, they just have been brainwashed.

This thread caught my eye and of course I won't read through it, but I want to offer my opinion.

I don't "hate islam" but I do "hate" deception and deceptive people.

In islam there is this act called taqiyya which is basically permission from the holy book to lie -- so right out of the gate when dealing with a muslim, you're dealing with a potential liar.

Islam also changed the culture of Iran in recent times, and has turned its people into liars... This is evident when comparing individuals whose parents fled iran during the revolution to their counterparts whose parents could not flee. The western individuals are much more honest and trustworthy compared to their iranian counterparts. The reason is how deception is part of the way of life in islamic countries (the revolution made Iran "muslim" and so everyone had to form their deception skills... their deception skill is so well-tuned that they don't even know they've become serial liars, lying about the dumbest shit). It's really sad, but I think taqiyya and simply not valuing honesty and integrity are corrupting aspects of Islam and is a key reason why Islam needs to be kept at bay.

I think what you meant to say was why people hate and blame islam for bad things that happened in this world, such as bombing, terrorist attack, etc. It wasn't like that. The bad guys just happen to be islam and they are bad. That simple. But since we as human are too judgemental, we often judge people by their cover without knowing the inside. I hate the people, their attitude, their character but never hate their religion. Each religion is beautiful. Each religion always taught us to love, care and treat about each other equally.

I don't think people hate Islam in the real sense, they hate the way some people practice their faith and call it islam. Every religious sect has it's fair share of extremists but in recent times, a lot of attention is being paid to the islamic sect because some people have made it their life's work to terrorize other hiding under islam. When people see that they just assume the religion is bad. My late grandma was a muslim and a peaceful one
