I see this post all the time, people who keep saying that bitcoin will soon disappear or we are about to see the end of bitcoin. I read somewhere that the price of bitcoin this year is not the lowest since bitcoin's inception. It has dipped lower before, if I remember correctly, it was 80% drop. With that in mind, how could people say that bitcoin is about to cease existence? If it can survive an 80% drop, surely it can survive the drop this year, right?
Negative people will never run out for one, and two because competition will always try to defame and look down on the other platform so the get even or take a leap of popularity. True investors wont believe on things just being said by other people they test and put themselves to experience first hand. Bitcoin will stay no matter they like it or not.

People keep saying that bitcoin will extinct soon from its creation time and these kind of news will get spread when there is price drops and now the price of bitcoin dropped more than 60% from its all time but still it is hanging at the good range where miners can make some profits so the bitcoin won't dissaper until the miners stop mining it.

What will be the reason for bitcoin to disappear as this is the leading cryptocurrency with a huge volume everyday? I think those people are not the real investors that really understand the nature of volatility. Only those weak hands will get panic in every dumps of cryptomarket as this is just normal in a speculative investment. Every dumps will give us the opportunity to buy bitcoin at lower price as not as always this will happen.

That is simply because people always get the wrong pictures whenever the market is in a downtrend and then in such moments, you either hear bitcoin is dead or bitcoin is disappearing. Well, that is how they have chosen to see theirs, so I guess in anyway, you cannot always tell people what to think about an issue.

As some would be seeing that staying positive in what is going on, it is certain you will see those who are seeing the problem in what is going on as well. There will always be two parts to a coin, and which part you want to stick with is generally left to you as an individual. Bitcoin is the need of modern era. If internet and mobile transactions will disappear then the need of bitcoin also will disappear. Bitcoin is going to stay with us until we need digital payments.

You're right. If Bitcoin can survive an 80% dumped in price than it will definitely survive this current situations. With that been said, I believe the FUD news you heard about bitcoin was the act of two group (market manipulators and cryptocurrency haters). The best thing to do is to never mind their negative news but hand shake the opportunity it open up for cryptonier.

Lol, even I don't care about talking about bitcoin will disappear because in my opinion it's just a joke and a worry, and a high fear due to the collapse of crypto market prices. Maybe they will lose their investment because they have been wrong when buying or maybe they are only spreading negative issues that make many people panic. Because after all, I still believe the crypto market still has the power to get back up and I shouldn't be stuck in a panic that will only make me lose.

Rather, what I find more worrying is that there are still many members of this forum that, although they are already accumulating hundreds of posts where they share their "knowledge" and experience in the subject of cryptocurrencies, they still openly state their ignorance to base all their uncertainty regarding the future of bitcoin based solely and exclusively on its current price.

Come on!, remember that what has made bitcoin a great event worldwide is the great technological revolution that the concept of blockchain has meant for many areas of the world today, including financial, so I think it is time to wake up our narrow-mindedness to realize that, on the contrary, the incorporation of this technology to our everyday life is a fact and that is great news for bitcoin and all crypto-enthusiasts.

I agree with all of you, however, don't you think it is not good for those who may not have as strong a faith as everyone else on bitcoin? I just think that it is not good to spread fear about something that may not even happen in the near future. Instead, we should prevent these people from saying that. I know that the price of bitcoin is not in any of our hands but if we will just let those people say those things then I feel bad for those who fall for it.

Do you think that FUD is effective in long term growth of bitcoin? Of course not, and remember that this is speculative and open market and anyone can say what they want. Its up to us to really filter out and read between the lines. If you have been in the market for a significant amount of time, you won't be bothered by this non-sense. Well let that be a lessons for those who fall for it. They should make their decisions not based on what others is saying, but learn to decide what's good for you.

If anything, FUD has been really good at making Bitcoin stronger, and stronger. And that's not yet talking about price.

Surely we haven't forgotten about the most recent sustained bout of FUD courtesy of the big blockers/anti Segwit/pro fork throughout 2016 and 2017? In the latter, we even had the threats of China and deliberate spam to create network congestion, compounding the FUD.

Nett effect? Stronger network, faster adoption as mainstream consciousness picks up the extra chatter. Plus the price run which came on top of that.

You ain't seen the moans yet till you see the whites of the eyes of kwuck.

Do no hear them. They are people who yell "WE ARE GOING TO DIE" in the movies as well. Just calm down and take a look at the data you have, as sherlock holmes said (sir arthur conan doyle said ?) "if you have all the data available than you can predict what happened and what will happen". Look at crypto, look at bitcoin, do you think something as big as this and as huge and valuable as this can disappear ?

It worth like a trillion dollars in cap in December, that is same as apple disappearing tomorrow, do you think apple can disappear soon ? I do not think so, I think we will go stronger each year.
You are absolutely right, why we should rely upon them if they are the haters on bitcoin. We know that this currency has a long existence in a world of crypto and it is proven and tested why we should believe to them. Just ignore them later on if bitcoin will rise again they will knuckle their head of being laziness.
Bitcoin for me is worth it, I do believe in this coin, whatever happens on the price in the market.

By seeing continuously bitcoin's down, many people become panic, that's why they are making posts about their fear. They are expressing their fear! I don't take their statement seriously. Because they will be happy if bitcoin starts pumping. Bitcoin will not disappear, if bitcoin hits 4K or 3K USD, then you have to keep your trust strong! Bad time can become worst but after all of these, the good time will come like the Bonjour!

Yes, many say that bitcoin will die and disappear. I think that is because they think from the beginning that bitcoin will continue to grow and to gain profits easily. They only prepare themselves for profit but they forget to prepare themselves to face the risk of bitcoin. I think those who have patience can survive and those who don't have patience they will leave.

The peoples are expecting a new economy so they are all wrongly imagine it will be disappear in future. But real fact all the cryptocurrencies are depends on the Bitcoin support. So once it will disappear automatically crypto technology is disappear in the world. This will be impossible in future because once internet is disappear then only it is possible so I don't take it in my mind.
They will always wrongly imagine things because they have failed to realize in the first place why they are investing in the space and not just for making quick bucks overnight. A lot of them tend to enter a state of depression and frustration because they have chosen to and because they have failed to realize that this is about the future and how decentralization is going to help change a lot of things.

Moreover, since all they care about is joining FOMO or panicking because of a downtrend, and selling at loss, they will always come up with a theory on how the market is disappearing.

Its a fake news, how many times they said bitcoin is dead but bitcion is still there, they want to drive down bitcoin so that they can buy at low price.
It is always here and is not going anywhere if you are available here you will get it and by following your best knowledge you will handle it finally you will get all the profit for which you were here. Low price availability is convenience for people to get it on low price and generally buying process should be done in low market so that we may not face any kind of extra use of money besides this it is a type of benefit as well.

No, I have only been in here a couple of months, but I appreciate your advice. Thanks for that. I think you are right. FUD is not, in a slightest bit, effective and helpful in any way. It not healthy either. But you are correct. It is only up to us to decide whether we want to believe it or be bothered by it. I just see this often and ought I would ask.

What people say is useless nonsense most of the time. Bitcoin won't cease to exist for a few years at least, because it has support to back it up. There are so many hodlers who are waiting to sell bitcoin at a higher price and bitcoin is slowly getting adopted. So bitcoin won't die all of a sudden.

While it's difficult to ignore all the nonsense that we are exposed to, it's worth at least trying. It's an utter waste of time digging through all that in an attempt to find worthwhile content and discussions.

And for those people that keeps on saying those words loves to spread fud. Just let them say what they want to say as bitcoin bounce back they will soon return and will have that bandwagon effect. Wait until bitcoin recovers again and most of them will keep quiet but some are consistently going to keep saying that.

Where its disappearing? Question was created for the sake?

In the Bitcoin Discussion board, as well as the others (Economics, Altcoin) many people say this, that bitcoin is disappearing or that we will see the end of it soon. The first thing that came to mind was they are just panicking because of the price of bitcoin these days but I just thought I still ask.
