see the current price, makes me think that, those who have said bitcoin have died in the past, perhaps currently being embarrassed, and may want to try looking for bitcoin, in fact, there are those who have been looking for bitcoin. When people don't see a big incrase of the price since some months, they jump in the opportunity to say bitcoin is dead. When the price incrase by 10% they change their mind and say, in bitcoin i trust lol. If the price doesn't improve or decrase from time to time it doesn't mean in any case bitcoin is dead or other. They read too much magazines like the washington post, forbes, ect. 
People simply have not yet learned all the advantages of Bitcoin, so wary of him. Some skeptics have always said that it bitkotn - dust. Such people will always exist. There is no consensus

It is a strategy also with altcoins, those who have sold their coins wants to get a profit again immediately so they this kind of news.

Dude this thread was created on February 14, 2014,, that time the price of bitcoin is not that good as the current price, the OP maybe think that it' dead already but it has restored his old value and now we have broke the all time high already. For now, I don't see people saying bitcoin is dead as most of us if not all are very optimistic of the future value of bitcoin. .
I think they keep saying that bitcoin is dead because they didn't earn that much like others do and because of that they think that the current high price is only a hype and anytime it will go down to its maximum dump. Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!
This is true, it is easy for the newbies to get caught in this kind of posts. It is recommended to read and read different articles regarding what is the real state of BTC.
It's not enough to just read on the posts, but rather research about it.

Both reasons are the same and valid. Usually those stronger ones wants to shake those with weak hands. It's all about money making, the more holders panic, the merrier the traders will be.
Lack of knowledge is applicable only to those who are on their early stage of acquiring bitcoin, they panic a lot when they see the price rapidly moves, and forgot to search for the reason why it happens.

They have the foggy vision where bitcoin can not replace Fiat and will be destroyed by the centralized system. We can change their mind if we continue to use and spend Bitcoin in the real world. Morever, the increasing of Bitcoin prices has already made many people change their mind. They have to admit that Bitcoin is created for the good purposes
We can't please everyone...Same as in bitcoin, it can't please all, and mostly people are after the profit, and believing in it means to most is holding and when the price is high, selling their bitcoin is their goal...

We can see a lot of the FUD in this day about bitcoin. You're right, a lot of people can not choose the right time to buy cryptocurrency. Because of this, they lose their assets. And then because of the resentment it says that Bitcoin is dead
