Some people are just stupid and follow what everyone else says. They don't have a brain of their own and instead they just follow whatever the the "specialists" say. places like gismodo and alike websites just spew out garbage and the worst part is that people actually believe and follow them. Does it really look like Bitcoin is dead? I think not. It has never died ever, and I doubt that it will die anytime in the the near future. The people that are calling it a ponzi scheme or even a pyramid scheme are just retarded and people need to get educated so that they can see that.

Well, I always keep this saying that to others replying this threads that its their own opinion and even if they kept on saying btc is dead, my trust became more stronger to bitcoin and I am 100% sure it will be more reliable. They always thinks value will go down as they create speculations like this, but it has totally no effect to people with strong dedication like me.

Just people getting mad about losing their money because of the slight instability of bitcoin. The reality is everything has a risk to it and some people just invest unknowingly thinking it's easy money until the price of BTC falls. It's not dead, just a bunch of misinformed people.

I think the key just continue to believe in bitcoin, anything said by someone about bitcoin, like bitcoin will die and so forth, still believe in bitcoin, bitcoin that the future is bright, so you're not going to panic

yes people are now becoming more and more mature and that is the reason that now we are not expecting any panic selling if the price of bitcoin start decreasing and it really get a farm support after some decrease and they again start increasing.

If the value increases fast that means there are people manipulating it or there are whales who are willing to hold bitcoins to make the price increase more. For normal people who does not have enough, when we see a price increase, we will be tempted to sell to cash out for a profit, we grab every opportunity to sell that's why we cannot get to the high peak price to sell

There are many reasons why the price could climb fast

And these are certainly not limited to the ones you just enumerated. For example, the price could be rising and that would be an organic growth if Bitcoin user base expanded rapidly. The other reason is reward halving and its long term effects which might have been postponed for some time. As to me, the current rise from around 600 dollars per coin is mostly the effect of the July halving. Quite naturally, if supply decreases while demand remains essentially the same, the price is set to rise eventually but that doesn't in the least mean consistent or gradual growth

One reason could be that the bitcoin is to be regulated properly in China, so it is recognised as a proper currency.
