Thats true some people does try to influence others, the week hands, and they usually drop their coins. But in the general people didnt forget bitcoin bubble of 1000 dollars and since bitcoin is a bit behind those people keep saying its a dead coin.
What is the purpose of having people dropping of bitcoin? Is it the theory of massive selling equals to a lower price? Because of you are referring to small time investors selling their bitcoin won't affect the price outcome, but when it comes too seasoned pros they won't even listen or try to bother about an article saying "bitcoin is dead" because they really know where is the price of bitcoin will go.

They are saying that bitcoin is dead because they are not using bitcoin at all and if they are going to use it as currency then they can cosidered as trader and they will not saying bitcoin is not really dead this currency is awesome for me and i can really say that i live with bitcoin since im a jobless person.

there are so many others who are saying it for the sole purpose of spreading FUD, because simply put they are benefiting from spreading FUD, when they create some panic and weak hands start to sell who do you think is buying from them?

Well I certainly don't think so. More and more people are getting to know Bitcoin, and using it. More and more businesses are accepting BTC as a form of payment. This is how I see it: More people know it, more people use it. More people using it, the price drops. The price drops, more people know it. Then, the price goes up again, since the demand is high. In summary, Bitcoin is not dead.
Price fluctuations should be treated in a positive way to earn profits and most of the traders are doing the same at a moment to make quick profits and people who say that bitcoin is dead are those who have lost their money in the past or don't have any knowledge related to bitcoins.

I too believe that is the main motive behind such utterances so that some people can benefit at the expense of other people. In addition, it could be because those people making such utterances are just hopeless, hence would want their negative action to affect others, maybe their psychological problem may get some calmness.Surely they are hopeless so instead of making their own regression and encouraging themselves to get out of it they are just making some bad reputation to bitcoin and keeps on saying that it is dead because they can't even stop the price increase of bitcoin. And they have their very own agenda for telling people falsely about bitcoin's death.
They are just making false info regarding bitcoin, some of them were desperate and hopeless kind of person. Some of them were scammers i think, no this won't be dead how this could happen and yet the price still increasing and it shows good progress and they say its dead? If bitcoin was dead then so would this forum be and those people wouldn't even be posting here. I think most people who claim such things are just trolls. Some are probably pissed that they missed the boat or bought in at the peak and now they can't do anything but pass the time by trolling (that's if they didn't sell their coins already and are now at a loss which would explain the hostility). Trolls just need to find better things to do because if people on here thought bitcoin was dead then they wouldn't even be here in the first place.
Definitely, you make a good answer. The obvious reason why we are here is because bitcoin is alive and kicking, the price is currently rising, so do you call that a dead coin? I guess not, and we are making benefits of using bitcoin which does a dead cannot give to the living.if we continue sharing it and using it the value will surely explode making more people to gather interest to invest too.

This always happens when the price is in a downtrend...The ones stuck in fiat who missed the rally from $100 are trying to get others to panic and sell so they can buy bitcoins for cheap...
