some people who spread negative news about bitcoin I think it is done because it does not like the existence of bitcoin which continues to have such a strong existence. but personally I think that how much they spread the negative news about bitcoin will not affect the existence of bitcoin.
Whales could be part of this black propaganda to make some bad news and FUD about bitcoin targeting to lower it's price since their agenda is to buy more btc right after those investors who made some panic selling. This will be the time for the whales buying huge amount of btc's at a lower price. Due to volatility, btc could easily be affected by these FUD's and negativity for the social media.

Alternatively, perhaps people spread wrong rumors because they want to make the price go low and want to take the ride. There are many factors, and we cannot avoid that. Bitcoin really isn't expected to last forever. It's just a proof of concept for the Blockchain, a demonstration, or reference point exhibiting the blockchains technological uses and capabilities. I believe that's why the project was made to be open sourced, in order for people to share their ideas and build upon the innovation, adding on to its infrastructure.

As of now, the downfall of the Bitcoin here in the crypto currency community is still keep on getting down. Well, we can really see that there are still so many people wish to keep it going down. Why? Because those people are making this time worthwhile to buy Bitcoin for investments. Because sooner or later, we all know that the price of Bitcoin will rise up again since it is the Ruler of all the crypto currencies.
