I guess BTC is showing courtesy on the Investors as Christmas and new-year is near to us 
kidding anyways. May be some big Investors would have invested a huge amount and demand may be higher? However, happy to see the changes atleast by the end of this year.

My theory is that people buy it as holiday gifts.
Amuses me how stupid people can be. When price falls during the end of the year, people are like "oh they arae just cashing out their profit for Christmas" and some other weird stuffs. When it starts to rise, now you guys are saying "people buying it as holiday gift", like for real? The fall and rise has nothing to do with holidays. Just read a bit more before posting something and making yourself look like an idiot.
maybe December became a special month as a bonus to buy at a low price and everyone hopes that the beginning of the year will be a fantastic price, this is just the prediction of everyone who doesn't necessarily happen
Most of it depends on how people who are already are into using bitcoin feel about spending on it.
Being the end of the year most people have a look at their financial situation and assess what they can do with the money they have left for the rest of their fiscal end of the final quarter if that is where they end it which is most likely the case.
Once the big expenses are done with and all the Christmas buying frenzy is over then if they have anything of considerable value left over they would more than likely spend it on cryptocurrency as they view what they have to spend on it as residual income. And can be spent on what they like which is more then likely bitcoin.

im not sure and not living in u.s but i heard it was about the taxes (for last year at least) maybe there are some regulations.

I belief this is a mere coincidence as regards the price rally of bitcoin in December the most noticeable rally was is last year however this year was not bullish the recent spite in the price is just normal there is nothing special about it can pullback to value lower than today"s high, although there might be some sign of recovery but not expected now.

right this is still cheap because we hope this year's price of at least half of last year or at least above 6000 is good. but now very far from this prediction is really bad

I think that now there is a small correction of the bitcoin market, after a long fall . The correction coincided with the Christmas and new year holidays, when people can give bitcoin as a gift .
No. It is not always like that. Just like what is happening right now. Yes, the price might be up for a while but it is actually not doing any progress even though there is a slight change upward. You can't still call this as a rally.

I think this increase will not continue. it's still possible that bitcoin will fall deeper again. so keep watching the market movements and don't be greedy if you have made a profit .. .. 
because the analysis many people befire they buy a bitcoin or investing in bitcoin they always see the analysis chart in the previous year, and we can see that the price of bitcoin and value of bitcoin always rise up in the december, in this situation in the december there are many people that will uy bitcoin for investing

This happens every time no one understands how the price is pumping all of a sudden, yes this pump will rejoice back the happiness on short term investors. BTC is doing really well so far I hope this green trend will continue let's wait and watch.

You"re saying that a lot of people are buying like gift cards to their loved ones for Christmas? Thats a great idea , a gift card with 50,100,200...usd worth of bitcoin and a list of shops where you can use it
