A lot of currently airdropped coins are just 'pump and dump', there is nothing behind them.You know, but it’s really interesting to watch how cryptocurrency is becoming more available for each of us. https://mytc.io/ Ive just checked their website and wanna try it. Im tired with airdrops ,joining into different airdrop campaign and recieved thier token but the sad part is they are all scam coins, tradable but no value at all, causs theres no even a single order.
Airdrop is a good reaearch tool - on the basis of micro trade one can establish if the information is properly distributed among future ICO participants. It`s market. People got it for free and want to get max profit. Why not? I have ~15 coins from airdrops. 3 I sold immediately. Other I hold, because of their price. And it becomes lower and lower every day. So the best strategy for airdrops coins is to sell them on the first day.

Very few air drop coins have value. Most are just pump and dump and not worth the hassle. Don't waste your time on those and do your research before trying.

I know that most of airdrop are not serious at all, scam or maybe it can be a good oportunity to make money, the thing is that I think that everyone has to keep them to help the projects because both of you will benefit of it... it the ICO goes well you that token will raise and you will make some good money for free. im new to airdrop but i encountered bitcoin in 2015 and learn my lesson. since i encash my 3.8 BTC in 2015.
you do the math i kinda lost the opportunity and dont want to make that mistake again especially with airdrop in which
i got the coins for free.

Im planning to hold mine for atleast 2 years. if i really need the money.

Some people are just greedy and they just want to sell their coins as soon as the get them. They find short term and not long term...
You also have some people that do not have faith in a project so they sell the coins fast to change them for stronger coins and then HODL those for longer to make a profit. Often the price of the free coins is so long though that I always prefer to HODL them, you never know what happens

When the project is good, has established timeline, then it is not about speculations, it is about the project.

I love keeping free coins since it requires little effort from my side, a tweet or a share and bingo, I have them in my wallet.
I recall a guy that got 0.1btc in an airdrop $700 app.
it depends on free coin holders, everyone wants to get more profit, but because they tought that they have gain profit on that price, so they sell their freecoin, they just sell it not dump it. they wont wait til the coin has reach 0.00000001 or there no buy order on that coin.

Patience is virtue. Why are you in such rush? Sometimes rush doing couldn't help you.
I rarely participate in airdrops, but I can say that mostly of these coins aren't good for long term holding. It would be best to sell it when become listed on exchange(s) and then everyon will forget about these coins after dumping it. And it's good way to increase your Bitcoin assets after selling airdroped coins, or invest money in altcoins.
But I can say that I still didn't sold my Bitcoin Cash airdrop, despite that I didn't planned to hodl it in long term.

Makes sense though after reading comments from Senior members. Dump as soon as it hit exchanges, then rebuy at a low if you see future in it.
