For, the exchanges must have their certain rule and regulation when you want to list the coin on the exchanges. They will know your project, coin, and also product. In this case, IEO is considered more secure because they are already sold on the exchange. But, can it guarantee the project? Not at all. You should put another reason too just like the fees can be a part of those reasons to be considered as a thing that makes the majority of exchange sites are interesting to launch its own IEO. As far as i know that the coin must pay a few per cent from the total raised funds to the exchange sites as fees and this has already surrounded by so many dev.
Another reason just likes to make or give demand to its native crypto that has been made by exchange site itself is an important reason too.

Trust me, most people speculating on stock exchanges don't visit the company, they don't even really receive the paper certs for their shares, because they're just buying contracts that they have to let go within several days or weeks.

Listing project IEO on exchanges costs alot so thats why many exchanges are joining the IEO launch train but to be on safer party one should stay away from any new exchanges launching IEO,they can easily scam innocent victims and cater away will the raised funds

With introduction of IEO, its win-win situation for projects as well as to exchanges. Listing IEO on top exchanges, attracts more investors to project and can fulfill all required funds.
At other hand, with new investors, exchanges are getting new users which is increasing their revenue and also a huge amount of fee exchanges receives from projects.

I agreed that IEO might not stay longer than that of ICO but still no one knows what will happen next,the exchanges that are benefiting the most from IEO are big exchanges and many investors that are complaining about the failure of many IEO projects are not to be listened to because they are not doing any research at all, those who do research should already know that exchanges like binance okex or huobi,gate .io are doing great with IEO launches and IEO is still profitable till date .

Yes its easy to say but that's not for free dude. doing IEO will take cost at least 10 btc and maybe more. Huge exchange like binance will cost more than 50 btc, and they are still not transparent with the real cost for it, depend the prospect of the project.

Why exchanges most interested to launch IEO? IMHO its because of the benefits that IEO brings to their exchange platform aside from easy profits. i think that was the big reason why most of cryptocurrency exchange are eager to launch IEO on their platform. Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is gaining bad publicity because of the fraudulent activities that victimized crypto investors, on the other hand IEO's was gaining support by most crypto enthusiast because of its improve funds security and transparency.

Less risk of scam maybe, arguably. But more secure is just not true.

Agree that not all IEOs held by exchangers are sold out. Exchangers are definitely interested in organizing IEO because with IEO, many customers will register on their platform, besides exchangers also get commissions from sales and listing fees

IEO is the way to promote the project in a cryptocurrency exchange. Sometime, I find it absurd since crypto has been promoted to trade only in exchange. The people forgot to apply the use case of the tokens and coins in a more lucrative approach. Imagine how many people do trading crypto, and how many from those trader using crypto as additional habit for profiting. Only geniuses will understand the potential of each platform or those good coins cause they are the one solely understand their uses in technology. Admit it but its right!
