Mooncoin was a great pump.  11 months ago.  To be honest, considering nothing has been done with the coin and the original dev left, I'm shocked it's still even traded.

I think mooncoin does have perhaps the best name out of all the altcoins. I guess that's why I mined and bought a load of them when they first appeared. I can see them becoming popular... whereas dogecoin and litecoin just don't seem to have the same kind of appeal in terms of how they sound. Since altcoins are technically so similar anyway, in many respects their names are their main distinguishing feature. The high quantity of mooncoins also makes them easier to understand in terms of transactions. People can deal with millions and billions much more intuitively than they can with micro-cents etc.

Mooncoin is going to go beserk when people start figuring what this crypto game is all about Wink

That's exactly what I'm saying.  Look at what's happened to the price since the day I started this thread... and still 99.5% or more of the general population have no idea what an altcoin is.  MOON is poised to be a winner  Cool

I know you're not going to like to hear this, but people like serious names for products discussing money.  MOON does not exactly exude any amount of seriousness.  It's more like "help I'm lost in space"

The Moon stands for stability of the Earth in space and therefore is most probably the reason for life being able to develop on our planet at all. What more seriousness do you need?

Doge coin has not got a serious name but it's not doing too badly considering it's at fifth place on coinmarketcap.

Right.

Too many coins, not all of them can survive. So you have to guess which ones to keep and which ones to pump & dump. Keeping all of them can be profitable strategy, but keeping only the best and dumping others (and buying more of the best ones) is a better strategy Smiley

Pump & Dump is a very short-sighted strategy.  You're not taking into consideration the 100 or 100s or millions of new altcoin users that will be entering the market over the coming months and years.  People who pump and dump and look upon every new alt as a "shitcoin" are not using their foresight...

No, no ... you first start buying moon gradually, initially almost for free, then the price goes up, ... first week people won't believe it, but if the slowly rising trend is continuing, some others will start to buy too, cause the prices are rising and they don't want to be left behind ... then perhaps a week later, after you've bought a shitload for 10 satoshis and the price goest to maybe 100 or 1000 satoshis .... just dump the millions back at those fools ... if you sell at least 1% of what you've bought, you get even ... if you sell more -> profit. If you sell all -> huge profit!

The moonprice rise in the last 48 hours from .11 too now .56 and it will go too .1000 because on friday its on cryptsy.   Smiley
You must be fast now.

I think it's because people are seeing its future potential so they don't want to let it die.  The way to save it is to buy lots of it and get it moving around the crypto economy so it will be in a good position when the crowds come in. And right now it's a really, really good bargain Smiley
it was a good bargain when it was at 7ltc satoshi but not now Wink
