You are probably one of the few miners who can still earn this way. I wonder what power you have? And how much do you pay for electricity? Is your farm in rented premises or do you keep it at home? If at home then how do you fight a very high temperature in the room?

You are right that mining is more legit and real business but nowadays things are not easy to generate profit from mining either this is because of increasing equipment costs, increasing electricity price plus mining factors that influence the efficiency of the mining rig, then comes the price of eth and difficulty of mining and lastly the greatest threat to eth miners that eth will be moving to pos from pow so that eth can no longer be mined, so things are not as simple as you have stated.

Mining is actually a good way to make money from cryptocurrency and it is also profitable too and is not very vulnerable to scams like investing in IEOs and ICOs

But the thing is it is only done by a few percentage of the whole crypto market and not everybody has the knowledge of mining.

I've done some profitable mining in the past, but it was just not worth the hassle for me in the end.
You need a dedicated room for mining, your miners go obsolete pretty quickly and the profits aren't all that great unless you can scale up quickly.

That said, I've never invested a dime into ICO or IEO's, I stick to investing in projects that already have a product.

Reasons why i prefer mining coins than investing a dime on IEO/ICO projects
1. My profits is assured.
I dont have to wait for a project to do x3 or whatsoever to get profits on my invested cash, with better mining rigs and good calculator you will know when your ROI will come.

2. No worries of getting scammed
I dont have to investigate an exchange before investing or wasting time doing research on projects before investing, all i do is mine ETH and sell for fiat or decides to hold for a little while.

This is your own method but to so many others love ke me we will do otherwise, I rather get involved in trading more then just mining cause it cost me less to trade then setting up a mining farm.

If you can get cheap electricity then mining can be profitable for you. However, the price of money is always fluctuating so you cannot know how much your profit is. Some of my friends have been mining bad money and when it has depreciated they have made a loss.
Because I'm not good at computers, I prefer to invest in IEO.

You have a very good point there for mining as the most safety investment over the buy of ICO/ieo in any project but not all people can mining as the cost of rig and the electricity for mining is at high side but are OK compare to some country , I wish I could mine too but light is not stable in my country which can be a barrier to the mining and if one know which coin is more prefer to invest in and hold for long time will also be good.

My personal opinion about Crypto Mining is very positive but it’s only sensible to go for if we have sufficient knowledge for it. If we lack that it will just be crazy for us to go for mining. The right calculation is very important for the success in mining, it is just next to impossible without it. So our priority has to be the collection of knowledge when it comes to mining. If you go ahead without it then you are moving towards sure-shot losses.

You can say that, but I don't think that all people will have the same thing as you. We live in many countries, and we don't have the same situations as you. But if you decide to choose to mine and to invest in the ICO/IEO, then you're good to go, and as long as you can take the profit from both mining and investing, then you will get the money.

But for people who don't want to choose to mine or to invest, they can choose to trade, but they need to learn about trading. We have a different method to earn money from cryptocurrency, and I am sure that every people will get what is best for them.

We have our own choice here of where are we going to invest our money. Perhaps, for you you really preferred for investing mining rigs because for you its easy and you can afford to have it. But for ordinary people like me its not practical, so I am much preferred to invest in the IEO or ICO, and I knew majority of the community here are in favor to that methods to get profit in the end.

If you can make a profit from mining, it will surely be a better option than investing in ICO/IEO. The rate of scam projects and failed projects are quite high, you need to know how to invest.

I prefer invest and trade, mining not profit for all the coins, especially if the income less than electricity.

First, I think the headline of your post needs to be edited because it does not represent the body of your message, your headline says you prefer both why the body of your post says otherwise. I dint know about your first point because I thought till the coin that you are mining increases in value too before you can have some gain, which mean you are also in the same shoe as an investor.

For me, I think I will prefer to invest than to mine, and when I talk about investing, I mean short term investment because I am a very good trader and with trading, I can take my own profit instantly which if I really know how to trade well, I could take much more profit than the person that has been on mining for year depending on the coin that I am trading.

It depends on the kind of mining you mean because so.many platforms that has offered cloud mining services has turned out to be scams in the end, unless you mean buying a mining rig and setting it up by yourself, I guess this is where I have to remind you that 79% to 80% of miners in South Korea shut down their mining activities in 2018, some even filed for bankruptcy, I guess that speaks for itself.

Your reasons are all valid but the big difference between mining and ICO/IEO investing is simply capital, it's not everybody that has the huge capital it would require to start their own mining operation and turn a profit, unlike ICO/IEO where you can easily double your money with just $1,000 if it's a reputable exchange IEO.

If the electricity price is high, you may suffer losses
Yes, he hasn't mentioned anything about the electricity consumption charges. As of now mining is profitable in countries where the electricity consumption cost is low. With the present value of ethereum in my country it is impossible to pay even the electricity consumption of the miner. I too belive investing is good, because to set up a miner initially requires a huge investment.

If one is gonna invest for the first time into mining, then I suggest investing the same into some potential coins and hold for certain time period to get the best out of the investment.

ICO, IEO, and mining is a work that can make a profit. Of course, to generate profits must go through a process that is not easy and requires hard work. Mining for some people is certainly very difficult because it requires equipment that the price is not cheap and electricity should continue to flame. So people would prefer to invest, like in IEO or ICO.

The problem of mining is its price and profit that you are making from those investments. As far as I know, ETH mining is really unprofitable, because the price is too low, electricity costs are very high and the difficulty is too high as well.

I have never mined anything because I did not explore it, but many people say that mining now is not in accordance with what is obtained

And if it's IEO, what about us and research it so it doesn't fall prejudice.
