You have quit while you’re ahead and that takes some serious balls. We are only human, sooner or later we will arrive at our breaking point wherein we will say that we have enough. The breaking point wherein we accept defeat and just fold then leave the game. Sometimes this breaking point is farther away for some people. Sometime the breaking point was when they finally lose everything they have, be it family or materially. And I’m glad that it didn’t have come to that.
Like me, I leave gambling because of my own desires, I feel completely depleted of all the treasures because of gambling, it all really makes me crazy, and now I have left it, although sometimes still do
Good thing because before everything get's worse you already have decided to quit. Unlike other gamblers who is already destroying their life because of the abusive gambling who still does not realize that this the worst mistake they have ever did in their whole life.
They are insane, they just can't accept the fact that they have lost of their money on gambling, that is why no matter how many time they have lost, they are still doing gambling, because they wanted to win back all the money that they have lost on gambling. It is too hard for them to quit gambling because of this reason, they are dedicated on not quitting rather than to be dedicated to quitting gambling for the better.
Those who know the value of family member and those who will think about their future they will decide immediatly when they realise that they are losing money and other things in gambling they will stop gambling like OP. But many addicted gamblers are not like this they will forget about their personal life, and they only think how to make big money in gambling. It is not possible, and they will never be grown up finally they end with disaster.
I think if there is ever a time when gambling is negatively affecting your life then it's a really good time to say 'that's enough' & walk away.

Its very an easy thing to say to someone and would able to say on ones self but doing this thing is really very hard and you would really need strong self control and discipline in able to do such thing. If you are really a wise person and a sensible one you would really feel these things and you will surely think up on whats ahead or the possible consequences that might happen to you. It is quite impressive that you left gambling with your own will. And as for your friends whom you made from gambling sites, you are still going to be in touch with them because friendship is not only based on gambling, but on other things. Yes, it is good for him, to left gambling on the time, also it is good decision he take on right time.
I mean i see most of the gamblers still play gambling even they know that they have no luck on gambling but not take a right decision to leave the gambling in a second.
I will courage to him that he is determine person and he see that gambling not give him profit and only lose he got it, than he take a decision. I am sure he has no regretted on it.

Gambling should be seen as fun, a hobby if you like not seen as a serious way of making money because more often than not you are going to lose.
Others makes gambling as a serious way of getting instant money that is why instead of having fun while playing they end up losing everything and become addicted to gambling.
The more you lose in the game big amount, is the more you become greed unto it, due to you want to win big. That's why, greediness is the number one source why we lose bigger than the balance to our bankroll. So it is much better for real to quit or stop gambling anymore mate before you become totally wreck.
I think that is the total opposite of myself. I am the type of people who surrenders easily, the time that I know that I can't be successful with that type of work or activity, I stop. I think we must have that type of thinking even in a little percentage, even a little part of our brain especially when we are talking about gambling which is only about risk and luck
Most of the whales and money minded people always don't consider bitcoin like a water and pour it in gambling site. Some people who are all developing in the business or family life will definitely understand it. Your words may knock anybodies mind and they stop gambling.

it is the rule of nature that nothing is permanently entertaining for you, at some period of time you become bored then you will look another alternative way to be entertained. gambling is as like it. when you don't feel from your inner side then you have to quit instantly, otherwise, you will lose money and time, those are the precious things in your life.
There are many alternatives of gambling this is not just gambling because gambling destroying people from 1000 to 0. Because people are spending too much money when they are wining and those people destroy their self who are not even capable to play gambling but having money so stay avoid go for another things to earn bitcoin if you are interesting to have bitcoins.

Probably gambling must be an exception when I go as per your statement because if gamblers do get bored because of long term gambling then there will be no possibilities of getting addicted to it. I believe anything which are giving you hope to make big money will never get you bored, gambling must be one of them. If gamblers themselves want to leave off gambling then definitely they are good at their self control. This type of gamblers will never get into gambling problems like addictions and then losing all the money. But I'm not seeing any such kind of gamblers till now. Jump to:
