I chose several promising ICOs. I read various reports, but they contradict each other. What experts do you trust?
Usually I trust only analysts who write or shoot video on their own, e. g. Oh Hey Matty or Ian Balina.

As an option, you can read the theme of the project here on bitcointalk.
There are also enough paid reviews and fake accounts here. If it's hard to you to figure out, then you can use aggregators, where you can find scores for all analysts. E. g. http://topexperts.io

In fact, there were many reasons for this situation. But I continue to argue that the main problem in the ICO market is getting too many scammers. With this, you really need to do something, fraudulent projects impair the confidence of participants and investors.

First of all, the main reason for this fall was the general financial correction. Due to the fall in prices of reliable cryptocurrencies, the confidence of many investors has deteriorated, they have begun to invest less money in new, promising projects. Although fraud among the ICO is also important.

The market decline is a major factor why now ico has experienced many failures. and of course now if we see the market going down and making ico itself the quality will also decrease in price now
Actually many ICOs and crypto projects are trash, there are many people just want make money from making an ICO, take the money and leave with any fake reasons.
No innovative project, just creating another same project with different names.

Due to the rapid fall in the market, people have become very skeptical of cryptocurrencies and crypto projects, and accordingly, they have become less invested in them

Because the whole year, the market was falling deeper and deeper. ICOs market depends on the crypto market and we are now facing the problem of the lack of investors. It is awful and we need a new wave of investors to make crypto great again.

The  major reason why ICOs fail is that most of them lack proper planning, secondly they are too much ICOs in 2018 and lastly most of the investors are concern we the profit they want to make only, they are  less concern with the success of the their project.

Of course , this year there are very few projects that raise funds in the ico , this year is certainly very disastrous for the ico, but when the market begins to gain the capitalization of the ico will return

Exactly this happened to ICOs in 2018, because people are afraid to risk their funds and the ICOs market dropped as well as the crypto currencies market. It is said, but I hope we will see a better picture during the next year.

Honestly, this year turned out to be bad, even if the market goes down all the year and many projects on this background do not even start, and of those that start, not many people collect the necessary amount to start!

Most of the ICO fails just because investors no longer want to invest in ICO, this is due to the fact that ICO has become a loss-making investment and almost does not bring profit. Very rarely can you find a project that can not fall in price in the current market.

i think ICOs won't fail in 2019, but most of them will exist.
Probably we will see a new wave of tokensales once crypto got stable and rebounce to higher levels.

The year 2018 has been bitter sweet situation for cryptocurrency.  While we may say there are many failed project within ICO space,  I do not think the whole ICO failed = I have participated in five ICO this year and four were very successful.  I am talking about Pundix,  midex, spectre,  dcc and iost!

The reason is that the cryptocurrency market bubble in 2017 was too serious, which led to the continued depreciation of cryptocurrency in 2018. This has been going on for 13 months. This is very scary, and many coins have depreciated by 90%. Perhaps the cryptocurrency is going to perish.

Lots od projects will fail in 2018 cause so many investors have suffered so much loss this year than their benefits which has scared or has made some of them stay away from icos thats has lead to a very pause in ico investments

The decline in popularity, as a result of a decline in monetary activity and purchasing power, assets began to fall in price and sell off, plus major players manipulating the market create situations where the weak in spirit and the inexperienced begin to sell their assets for nothing, which leads the entire market to a fall.

personally I think too much ico will fail this year due to the instability of the crypto market and especially ether they can figure out their real expenses and their crypto capital

The fact is that hacker attacks and the overall non-stability of cryptocurrency have scared away many investors.  Now the world is gradually starting to trust it, but does it carefully.
