I completely disagree that ETH is over. I'm confident that it has a great future. The price drops this year have hit all coins. ETH will recover in time, it is much stronger than most.

It is not over as well as the other cool cryptocurrencies that are extremely cheap now. let us wait for the time when the market turns out to be green again. Please, do not hurry up to sell the crypto.

Most users of this forum are shouting: hodl. If so, then they did not sell it. This is one of the few topics where somebody confessed to selling. Those who sold and collapsed the market will also raise the market. And with the growth of the market, talks about etherium will be more positive.
It is easy for people to throw the blame dart on a coin just because of some little floss, and with the issue the OP raised as regards scaling, at least, I believe it is a good thing crypto kitten exposed that and sure will make it easy to build on to bring about a proper solution in the long run.

With respect to the downtrend, I do not even expect that anyone would be getting out of any market because of that when they should even be using it as a better opportunity to invest long.

yes im also selling all my etherium , not just etherium but also my bitcoin . i sold them all because i needed the cash for some important spendings and i didnt regret at all even though im aware that both coins can still recover and give me 2x profit than compared to the day that i sell them .

thats what did also happened to op . you know guys , there nothing really wrong to sell as long as you know whats really good for you and everyone of us has thier own seprerate decisions in life , so choose your path wisely  .
No one is really stopping anyone from selling as long as they have a concrete and reasonable reason for selling in the first place.

For yours, I can understand, but for the OPs', I cannot simply understand why having a small scaling problem could be an issue for investing and it is not like the whole scaling thing may not end up becoming a thing of the past.

Generally, scaling sure looks like a big issue in the crypto market once it hits the large scale, which is why it makes it easy for coins like this to keep growing since this is what the devs will be building on to bring about a better product in the long run.

Ethereum is over.

We have seen why Ethereum cannot scale in 2017, even a crypto kitty joke coin could make it grind to a halt.

Ethereum has many attack vectors.

I am selling all 2,000 ETH for BTC and DIECI when it launches. I predicted ETH when it was at $1 and bought many, I'm not proudly professing that ETH will go to $50 by 2019, and DIECI will take 60% of Ethereum's market share.

How about you show us a screenshot or txid about you sold all your 2,000 eth? You are a newbie and of course no one will believe this shill lmao. Show us the proof then people can believe you. I know the price of Ethereum is falling right now but i'm sure it will go up again soon.

Anyone can tell anything. But listening to them or not is a decision of others. I don't think that ETH will reach $50 level. Sooner the market will stable. Then this dip will be the last bottom you see for ETH.
That is why this forum is good  till you are reading something and don't do the same like others but you think about their decisions and learn on their mistakes like it could be in this situation.

Good thing that you have sold ETH for bitcoin but why there's a need for DIECI?

If you bought ETH @ $1 then you are one lucky believer of it. But I can't understand the fact that why there's a need for a tandem to bitcoin with a coin that's not popular. Alright so ETH is on its way to $50 by 2019, I can't imagine on how big the market is by that time and why ETH will fall side wards.

I don't agree with you. I think ethereum is promising and that it will show its growth. That's why I'm holding it and I'm not going to sell it.

Why would ethereum die? I think that its price on the contrary will only increase. This platform is widely used and quite popular. So it is better not to sell.

I think it is not that simple that announcing the end of a coin, which has the best cap according to all other altcoins. In my opinion, ethereum is still a strong coin which can rise again.

I believe that if you build and sell Ethereum, it is not now. For now all cryptocurrencies are in decline and you need to wait until the rate to recover.

ethereum is not over yet and remains in the crypto world. but I doubt whether the price can rise again and reach ATH again  Huh
I also think that giving up on ethereum this soon is like insulting the king of altcoins. Ethereum might be slow but if we look at its community of supporters, it has the largest one among altcoins. It is not only ethereum that is bleeding at the moment but the whole digital market too as bitcoin is not paying any attention to moving forward but it won’t be the case forever.
yes, I agree that ethereum has a very large community and is supported by other tokens that have been successful. so this is only a matter of time and ethereum will rise in the future.

Proof it Wink. And what is DIECI? I have found their website and it looks like that they are so small. How can they competite with so big project as Ethereum is?
Every day new Ethereum killer is created and every day these coins are diying Wink

Perhaps the ETH is in a state of imbalance as a source of life for many ICOs. They choose the best when the trend, psychology and pressure from the market. But strange is the ETH value hit the mark in November 2017 before it grew up to ~ 1k5 in January this year. So, I'm still patient to hold the ETH and look forward to the freshness from the big adjustments.

I think you have been negative in investing. I would not advise against you, but you should consider the current economic situation. I know the investors were worried and became blind and sold out all their altcoins. But they do not know that the whole world economy is going down. They just look at the Crypto market and do not know anything about the external market, which will make them fail.
