I think XRP is a coin for long-term investment and they should not be sold. This is a really good project.

I've read the full article about XRP and system is implemented really very good. There is even a crypto expert who states XRP is an altcoin still exist in the future. This is why i still hold some XRP in wallet. And haven't thought about selling it.
I still don't like the idea that Ripple handshakes with the big banks and I'm not saying its a bad idea but it goes against the principal of decentralization.
I agree with this. The industries I hate the most in US are banking and insurance. What we need is more decentralization, not centralization. However I also recognize there's a lot of potential money to be made by being in bed with the crook bankers. Speculating which way it will end up.

Chinese exchange Yuanbao has announced the listing of Ripple (XRP) set to begin trading on Friday, June 9th. Earlier in the week, the company announced the listing of Ripple rival with Stellar Lumens (XLM) tokens(already trading large amounts +/- 4 Milj. XLM per day) available for trade against CNY. Adding XRP to 100 more exchanges doesn't mean its price will explode. This is a common misconception when people think certain coins need to be added on Poloniex to increase or whatsoever. It does not matter in any way because demand does not automatically increase. Only innovation, development and hype does lead to increase.
An exchange merely adding a coin does give it exposure, but it needs to compete with dozens and sometimes even hundreds of other coins/tokens. So it's true that innovation, development and hype are required, not simply paying an exchange to list your coin.
If banks were to start accepting a coin? That would be a whole different ballgame. The thing is, even if banks sign on to use Ripple, that doesn't make XRP valuable. You only need a tiny amount of XRP to use Ripple forever.

I've heard very strongly varying opinions on this. Given that it has survived the shitcoin bubble, it seems like it has a future- it's regulated, finance companies use it. On the other hand, there have been vast selloffs on this and doesn't seem any bright hope for the near-term.
I get Warren Buffet's mantra of "buy when others are afraid" and all that, but that mantra works good for established companies. Is it something which can be followed for Ripple, or is it a falling knife?

Holding on it seems the best move to me, I expect it to go high by the end of 2017.

yeah ,ICO is so crazy,people think it would earn more fast money from the ICO of ETH!I think it 's big speculation and stay away from it

I don't think a company can increase so much in a couple of weeks. You have to wait longer.

The only thing I regret is that the amount of ripple I have is very small I wish I had more of them. Everyone who's holding their ripple are doing the wisest thing. I believe and I have reasons to believe so that ripple has certainly a good future.
