Understanding what makes Bitcoin a better investment is vital here. I understand that it may feel like something is off, and sometimes you want to see better return on your investment, but the reality is that if you keep on trying to do the same thing over and over again, then you may just end up failing all the time. So, this is why we have changed, all those stocks, forex, gold etc etc, they have been around for decades some even centuries and we are all still poor, only the rich got richer.
This means that we could just end up with a good investment into bitcoin, a new thing, and hope that it would make us richer. Everyone would love to be wealthy, but we are hoping to at least not be starving, and bitcoin could give us that freedom.
What you said makes me think that you are blaming investments like gold, foreign exchange...when you cannot become rich. And I wonder, would you blame bitcoin if your bitcoin investment didn't bring you wealth in the future? It is true that bitcoin has the potential to increase in price, the potential to bring us great profits so that we have a chance to become rich but nothing guarantees us 100%. Whether we invest at a loss or gain a big profit depends entirely on each person's skills and vision, not on bitcoin.
There are also many young people who become rich through real estate business, gold trading, foreign exchange... why do they never complain or blame?
