This is because they presume that gambling is an income so that they make the gambling as work, for me gambling is just for fun. So losing or winning is not a problem, because for me it's gambling entertainment.

You may not know but that is really happening in real world. Especially if you are going to enter a casino a lot of cougars, addicted gamblers and new comers will always shout there that "I am lucky for this day". I do not agree with your first statement, but I agree with your second statement. We can become addicted to gambling even though we do not know anything about the House. Very probably addicted because I think it does play a role in making people become addicted. But for the second your statement, it was probably the most influential factor in making people become addicted. We got win in the beginning, and will try to play again because we wanted to win again, and when lost, we will try to take back the money we lost.

Not all don't have a knowledge about the house edge, some know that already, it just that, they are still trying expecting that the wheel of fortune are on their side, trying their luck even if they do it many times, as long they win they will keep on doing it. That's not the real reason why gambling is addictive. The reason of most of the gamblers think that they are lucky enough and even how hard it is to win a single win as long as they think that luck is with them. They are going to keep on gambling again and again no matter what happens, even they are losing as long as the hope of being lucky is there.
willing or unwilling, people who feel the loss of gambling indirectly they will conduct gambling back because they have a sense of responsibility to get back the money that has been lost, and this is what indirectly make the person has become addicted. addiction is not because of the pleasure, but the addiction caused by the need.
I agree, they get addicted because they need something and they find something which they can achieve it. They need money, then they gamble, then they find gambling a way to earn money in an easy way so they would always do it. They don't realize how much they are already losing because they are addicted to it. They will just notice it until some serious effects will happen on them.
all they care are just about winning and winning , it was a big mistake to have mindset like that.
