I think the problem is you have nothing to do and you find gambling as a pastime whenever you feel bored. That is one of the reasons why I think some people turn to gamble and get addicted. Try to find alternatives to spend your time so you can avoid gambling.

it is addicting primarily because of greed or the thought of trying to recover back what has been lost in the past. Gambling promises hope of better days and is silent on what it can do to you if you don't win and so many fall prey by contributing bits of their hard earned money into it and they cannot stop after huge commitments.

Well, if you sum all your loss, i think you will surely regret that you lose an amount of money to something that is not profitable in the long run. If it's just for having fun then i guess you should limit yourself in spending your money. Anyways, that's your money and how you spend it and lose it would be your problem but know your money's value while you still can.

It could works, actually that is what we have to do. Addiction is just a risk, the risk is something that is not certain to happen, it can still be avoided. If you think it will not work at least to you it mean you lose.

Lol, Skills are not in any way related to gambling. Gambling is not a profession where you need some degree or particular skills, it is totally dependent on your luck.

The utmost strategy you can use to avoid big losses is to put limit on yourself regarding the amount you may lose in one day, nothing else works in gambling in the name of strategy. I will personally suggest staying away from the game.

Gambling s very much like drug, proven and tested. I do gamble with my cousins when we were a kid. That time I am so addict to the point that, even though my mother calls me I am just ignoring her so I can continue playing. I find gambling addicting because I find thrills with it. It is not boring, like spicy compare to ordinary foods. Sometimes when it is my last money that is the time I will win big. In doing gambling, I find friends, I find happiness, stress free, chill and even though I lose I win. I just say it is not profitable even though we can earn money from it. I beleive gambling is made for fun.

Sometimes greediness strikes when you are playing gambling it is matter of uncontented when you are winning and uncomfortable when you lose some of your money.

The greediness is one of the reason why people get addicting of gambling especially for those people just newbie in gamble. Because like what you say they re not contended even they got lucky in that day. If one can keep gambling within limits and not go broke then it can be considered as a past-time and you need to pay for pastime. So the amount you lose may be considered as a payment fees. Then again I believe we can get entertained in other ways as well.

Different people may have different reason for that but to me i think the main reason can be that gambling look like as one of the most easiest way of making money. We do not require any knowledge or gambling skill, but there we totally depend on our luck. In fact in gambling we totally depend on our luck. But i will like to add there no one can be lucky for every time, and therefore we cannot consider gambling as an easy way of making money.

Yes, You are right .the only thing that one could not feel the losses himself and find out that he is actually an addict is that his self realization is lacking at some point. No one could ever bring harm to himself without even stepping back if he has realized the harm.

Simply, being an addict is mental state where you cannot decide between the good and bad for you and keep on trying again and again with the same results.
