It's the reason why we have to be aware that every time we gamble we need to know our limitations. It is all starting there, if you are not conscious of your limitation that will start to make you addicted. You win without thinking of limitation and you gamble without limitation. That's likely very possible to give you an angle of becoming addicted soon as gambling is simply addicted when we are winning.
some people know their limit but they try to push that limit over them. Sometimes people that keep pushing themselves doesnt know when to stop and it is bad which could make them heavily addicted someday. I have been getting through this stage already so I know better than most people how it feels to be addicted when you are pushing over your limit
They know they limit but they can't control their minds. It's hard to control when you are in that moment that you are thinking that gambling will help you to survive when you are in times of needs. In this time if you are feeling the same way like those gamblers better to shutdown your computer or things will get worst.
That means they dont know their limit right. If they know their limit then they should stop once they reach that limit. Some people keep saying that they cant control it. No, they know they limit but they can't control their minds. They are aware of what they have been doing all of the time but still recognizing that they are starting to become addicted isn't registering to their minds. Like now, we know what we are talking because we are on our minds but for those gamblers that don't have other things to think but only recovering their losses will continue and get addicted.

I don't know what to say about your comment on this thread but it is way too far from what OP asked, lol. It looks like you don't have any experience on gambling that is why you don't know what to say or what opinion you are going to give about gambling addiction, but I know that you are addicted to something and that is what you called "passion" or "habit", in that way, you could relate it on gambling addiction.
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc

Because all people wants to be filthy rich and the greed fuels it more so once we tasted a sweet little victory from gambling or lose then we get addicted more and more.
Gambling offers the opportunity to become rich almost without doing anything and those who like easy money will come back again to try again. You need to set a limit for the game in order not to lose everything.
Correct the opportunities we will never get in real life that is what attracts us towards gambling we always need to understand gambling is just a short term solution and sometimes it might even make you good money but to make more money you always need hardwork and dedication Other people became that addicted of because they taught that full happiness can be achieve if they play and play as expecting lots of chances will come all the way, but they're wrong. That's right gambling was just for short term bets which could possible give you lucky chances of winning, but I don't see it profitable if we make it long term. Better to work for money like bitcoin jobs and other sources of income like physical jobs, due to sustainable amount it may provide to us.

I think this addict ability is one of the most apparent and main features of gambling, You can't completey control yourself and you desire more of it, Not sure about the scientific aspect but I guess it has to do with hormone stimulation on the brain and the like.

Gambling is addicting because of human greed.
Because, no more fun activities other than gambling. Activities of people who have alot money for wasted. Especially if lullaby will get jackpot, then addicted that happened. Unless, no money is risked then gambling becomes a good fun.

Well for me, it is just a matter of individual preference. We cannot just tell people that they should do what we think is right because for them it may not be fun and they only get that level of entertainment that they want in gambling with money that they can afford to lose.

It is always give them a bad things no doubt , but because of gambling addiction they are keep chasing that non sense goal to keep get a winnning.

There is a bigger effort needed in order to succeed in gambling, the moment we underestimate gambling and we think that it's a way to make easy money that is when we lose a lot of money. Gambling can give us easy money but only if you are smart enough and has the skills to be consistent in a long period of time, if you do not possess that talent, just gamble for fun to be safe.

We became addicted to it because everytime we play we oftenly lose and it will tend us to play again to retrieve our losses. And sometimes we don't know that we are now addicted to. May be you are right, but in my view, gambling has too much attraction that's why people can't control ourself and always ready to win, but in fact we are not win every time, but our greedy give us courage to play again and again, then your point will be right, when we have lost then we try to recover our lose and step wise we continue our betting. That's why gambling is so addicting. But also we get from gambling fun and enjoyment, we should never forget that point.
I ve been reading some reasearches about it.Whan people gamble his brain is emitating some chemical substances thay are very specific gambling related,so people are not addicted becouse of gambling activity but becouse of addicting to those substances,thay are like drugs but drugss without psychical harm,if you want those drugs you can gamble but not to much,money are just excuse but people addicted to any kind of drugs are able to lost everything,if you want stop you have to make purification of your organism first
