Gambling is addictive mentally. The worst thing for a beginner is to win a large amount of money. Later, even when losing, is expecting that the next big win comes easily and work out their losses. However, usually this does not happen and people are getting only more addicted.

Because that is what most people's nature and when a person see's money he will literally take it if no one is looking and if there would be free money pop up on his face he would just literally grab this kind of opportunity, that is most people ways in gambling too, if a person would win in gambling and would really like to win again he would definitely keep on playing or betting.

You may become addicted to gambling because of many reasons:
1.You may encoutered early Big win in your first bet or first day of gambling.
2.Accessing or being able to gamble is easy. You just need internet, mobile or any gadgets and you are good to play online casino.
3.You want to forget your problem so you gamble instead.
4.You have a financial problem and you try to gamble to get or accumulate the money that you need.

for me these are the reason why people get addicted in gambling. there are more reasons.

I remember one time when a friend and I were passing Vegas. We stopped at the casino and tried the slot machine. I simply had about $20 worth of chips and since it was my birthday... i tried it. And yeah! I won $15.. so basically lost $5.

I went back to the room to sleep since we were driving early the following morning.
I did not know that my friend went back to the casino and played the slot machine until 5am.
And I was wondering why he was so groggy that I had to drive even if it was his turn to drive from Vegas.
Later on he admitted to me that he was at the casino.
And he said for some reason.. he just got addicted to it. He loved the thrill and the possibility of winning. But I did too - but it did not appeal as much. He wondered why he was suddenly hooked on it.

I guess the question would be - why are there certain things that could be addictive for us and not for others?
My simple answer would be our psychological frame-up.
Others get addicted to porn, others do not.
Others to food, romance, thrill..etc while others dont.
But is there a possibility that we may be addicted to something if given a chance to be exposed to them?
My answer would be yes.

I don't think so. I am thinking that most gamblers are playing because they want to profit as the main reason, only a few will play gambling just because playing is fun. Yes gambling is addicting but i can't see the "fun" as the main reason why people is playing gambling.

We are being addicted because we are challenge of the fact that we have more loses than our winnings and the fact that people think winning in gambling is almost an impossible thing. We love to prove to people that we are one of the exceptional people who can do win in the long run.

the thrill when you stake your money to win additional money on certain event make everybody addicted.

and also when you waiting the outcome it has something special that makes you happy , this is make people addicted too. especially when you won it. but when you lost it too it can be something addicted too , because people will try chasing that losts back.
