If you don't know when to stop then that is the problem, I have been to that situation many times before that I am already up big but due to my emotion that let me play and want to win more I end up losing everything.

The very addicting stage of gambling is when your group of friends are indulging in gambling and make fair play or competation to you it will make you get addicted without knowing you cannot live without it, and also other reason is at first you win big for the first time you try gambling and turn out you lose big for second time and you try to catch up your loee and lose more bigger that way you will make addicted to much because your catching to get what you lose.

I think you will be addicted more when you gamble alone than going with your friends. Being alone in gambling especially in the internet, you cannot get advise from your friends and when you are influenced by your emotions you are likely to make mistakes.

At first, we should learn how to control ourselves.
I think it's enough to learn this.

If you have so much gambling addiction, then try this way.

First make a goal depends on the money you budgeted for gambling.

Lets say you promised yourself that you will bet 100K satoshi today maximum.

If I win than it will be OK
If I loss all than it will be OK too.

I won't bet more than this amount a day.

Be a promising guy.

This theory helps in all kinds of addiction.

This would only work to those people who don't talk to other gamblers in the chatbox, in short, those people who have no social life. This also applies in real life. If you have nobody to socialize/talk with, then it's probably okay to go home right when you lose all your money. But if you do have a good social life in a casino or even in a gambling website, then you'll probably keep on depositing money until you get a good win and your friends praise you. Wider social life = more peer pressure. It'd be really rude if you go home when your friends are still playing. Maybe you can stay and just talk to them, but I promise you, the peer pressure would make you bet more.

Yeah definitely. The thrill is simply why we are coming back time and time again. To get high, basically.

Also with bitcoin it is infinitely easier to access casinos and deposit in them as opposed to old fashioned real life casinos. You also want to chase your losses back time after time. That's how they make you keep wanting to come back.

That's why you must know your limit. Limit youself from gambling, and don't be addicted. In my opinion, it's okay to try sometimes with small amount just to have fun.
