Yes they are indeed very similar with one another you can always say that because in gambling addiction you can see the very similar traits an addicted person behavior, and any psychologist would say the same thing that gambling really is addicted like drugs!
I don't agree with this at all.
maybe in a psychology perspective they are all having some similarities but in general I don't think they are alike. mostly because in other forms of addiction like drug addiction there is always a physical need on top of the mental need that derives the person towards that but this is not true at all about gambling.
But it is the truth all of this addiction is a mental illness that just like you said all have physical needs that they need to keep their urge in it and just like drugs they keep on coming at it and if they don't continue with this kind of urge they will feel something is wrong with them.
The excitement it gives to the gamblers when every time they are winning to their bets is just addictive like I have felt that and it makes me excite when I'm going to gamble.

agree, this is also another factor why most gamblers are addicted. The urge to win big always exist on every player, especially when the gambler is on the losing side. Greediness is another big factor why they still stick to gambling, some of them want to get their losses and some want to get rich fast.

I think you get an adrenaline rush when you put money into gambling and win. Maybe just betting gives you that rush. Once you win you want to keep trying to win more.

Yes this is 100 percent correct winning makes us to play gambling again and again so automatically we will addict this gambling. But same if we loose our first bet means we automatically stop betting because people will not take much risk in beginning once they lost there bet some people will stop there. so here winning is the main problem. gambling is not addictive it is the person who gets hooked into gambling that gets addicted to the game. yes you are right in your opinion. there are lots of people who go to casino's and play for a couple of minutes but never get hooked to it. They have this self discipline controlling their emotions in playing. What you always notice when it comes to gambling is the ones who never stops playing as long as he has the resources to play with. In the hundred percent of casino guests not even 50% of them are addicted to gambling they are not even regular players.

I agree with that. But it's not only winning that males you addicted to gambling. It's both winning and losing. Losing your money makes you eager to bet more, play more, having the chance that you can survive and get back your losses. It's just like that in my opinion, if you win, you have the eagerness to earn more while if you lose, you have the eagerness to get back your loss.

I think op is talking about why gambling is so addicting.. But any way addiction is one of the sickness that needs to treat because it can brings to you from rich to be poor in the future.. if you are always spending your balance at any gambling site this is addiction.. you are thinking to recover all your coins but honestly you cant recover it fast if you are not lucky you cant recover it all..
