That's practically a part of it's nature, it's addicting and annoying in that as well, I guess the only way to avoid or at least is best way to avoid it is avoiding it from the start.
You're prone to addiction because of the rush of winning, the adrenaline from getting a jackpot. When you get a huge win, or a lot of money from gambling, that's what gets you. That's what increases the dopamine levels in your system, what makes you happy, and why your brain NEEDS to gamble.
