Because gambling lulls someone in fantasy of making alot money in short time. Most gamblers have more free time than people who work.

I think more than that. not all gamblers are gambling for the money. some gamblers do it just for the sake of the fun they get when they gamble. there are people who think about profits first and those people are the ones who most of the time would get their heart broken and then delve deeper to chase losses. there are also those who see gambling as just a way to release stress.

For me the purpose of playing gambling is indeed for fun. Because when we are charged for profit then we can feel depressed. And it affects our emotions, the effect of addiction only applies to people who expect money from gambling games. So do not ever expect more when we do not want to get addicted.

I agree. Those who view this as earnings can not stop, because each time they expect to get a profit for the time and money spent.

i have so many times heard about that excuses , it's ordinary . and extraordinary things make it so addicting for some people are due its easy money maker characteristic . most of them who go to a casino to gamble aren't for entertainment/pleasure but pushed by economic needs and choose a fast way (they think) , most of them too ended so bad lost money.

Yes, gambling is a good stress-relieving instrument and when it is used for that purpose it is mostly successful. But when people start using it the wrong way, namely for making money, they get into troubles.

You got the point people got addicted also one of the reason why there are people losing a lot of money in gambling.. instead of they are just making fun with gambling they are gamble both fun and profit. that can result of losing lots of money..

If one gambles every day and thinks that they can win back the loss they made the last day then they are bound to get addicted until they stop it themselves. Without self control gambling is a tough thing to stop getting addicted to. Specially for people with low income who have expectations of living in luxury one day - these temptations can make them go crazy and set up potential addicts in them.

This is one of the reasons why Gambling is so addicting, because it is fun. Addicting, because we are talking money here, and people do love money, and most of us think that gambling is the only way where we coukd earn big money in a very fast way. But we have to considerbthe fact that yeah, it is an easy way to earn money, but what is the point if it is too risky. I would rather earn bitcoin from time to time than do gambling.
