At the moment neo and other coins are waiting for the beginning of the market recovery. I think another month or two we are waiting for the same uncertain situation in the market and strong volatility. Perhaps then the recovery will begin.
No coins is kicking off with these market situation. NEO is great project and I think that will be one of the first to recover when the market start moving upwards.
I, too, am confident in the forces of neo. This is one of those coins that will recover at a rapid pace. If you look at the graph of this coin, neo almost always grows very actively at the initial stages of market recovery. 
Nothing is kicking off right now, there market is in a really big depression. Even though NEO has amazing potential and promise, which in my opinion far exceeds that of its predecessor Ethereum, it is very difficult to flourish under such strain. I think if the market stabilizes again and this incessant FUD campaign finally ends, then NEO will start shooting its way up the rankings, as it really is a next gen crypto.

I agree that it's still a good and legit coin to invest in. However, my two cents why NEO is not kicking off is the fact that it's difficult for it to get out of Ethereum's shadow. As we know, the other term of NEO is that it is the "Chinese Ethereum", so for most people, they would feel more comfortable to invest in the original than the copy, and I think that it applies for Chinese people themselves. I am not saying that because of the idea that some Chinese made things are sub-standard, but because of the fact that, in this market, you go for the better investment whether it came from China or US, it's just that, right now, Ethereum has a better pull to investors.

Because their icos have been having issues with their platform.
It is 60 dollars, and it used to be 20 dollars. I mean what do you expect for neo, a 100 bucks a piece? COme on.

Worth, just the whole market is falling now, because of this, Neo does not show good growth. But this is a very good coin, do not sell now, wait.

NEO is a very strong project. Projects such as NEO, ETH, ADA have been developing slowly for a long time already. You must have a lot of patience. But now the market is bearish so it's not so necessary to cash in right now. Wait for a better price level.
So, everyone is waiting for regulations to kick in on order to feel safe to invest again? Well, then we have an interesting year ahead of us. I guess it will take some time for governments worldwide to find regulations everyone can live with.
It's not only NEO, nothing is going up. Seems like crypto stuck right now, and i think it will be stuck few more months.
unfortunelly, i need to agree, and my personal opinion is all are waiting for market to get more stabile... Take a look at ico market. All ICOs are strugelling now with question of how much cap to set, should they buy fiat now and things like that, since all are drowning (eth wise) and trend seems to continue
It's not only NEO, nothing is going up. Seems like crypto stuck right now, and i think it will be stuck few more months.
Can anyone tell me why the chinese government is supporting NEO (or not restricting it like other cryptos). Do i understand it correctly that NEO is more or less owned/pushed by the government or is it just the "biggest chinese coin" and thus the government is not restricting it, because it it is originating from china and bringing money to china?
Now all cryptocurrencies are falling, and it is logical that neo is no exception. I think neo will start to grow with the other crypto in a week of months.

I want to buy more Neo coins. It is still worth to invest in this currency. At last period of time NEO is trying to start to grow. I believe it will succeed and Neo popularity will come upper and upper. Soon this coin will be between the best currencies of modern days.
Been eying it to go down to $50 but looking very hard.. Do you think it will hit 50 or should i try higher?

NEO is a great project , and now is the perfect time to buy.
The reason it is not rising is because the whole market has been trapped in a downward movement for the last few months.
Just ride it out. NEO will rise again.
I think that NEO will start to kick off when the bearmarket ends. It has huge potential, but it has seen some recent setbacks in the form of FUD. Eventually, the project will gain in value.

The whole market is a bearish trend. All coins fall at about the same speed, in such conditions it would be strange if NEO grew.NEO is a promising coin, and due to its relatively low capitalization with the recovery of the market, NEO will grow faster than other coins.
It is not kicking because currently, nothing is kicking off (maybe some minor coins get a kickstart, but top coins are mostly following Bitcoin) - the market is extremely bearish.
The market is not reacting positively to news, announcements etc. and while there are many announcements for NEO, there is no real development yet.
However, it is to be expected to see the bullish market again in 2018. and NEO could be one of the starts with it's NEP5 protocol.
NEO also has a great staking system. You just keep your tokens in the wallet and you start collecting GAS. You only need to be online in order to claim it.

But what about that neo off switch? Do you know that since NEO came online, he gone offline for some time, what do you say about that? do you think that it's wise then to have a lot in NEO?
I am interested in this. Do you know the (at least official) reasons for this?
It seems even more normal for something to go off during maintenance in early stages then not, hence I am not worried, but I do want to investigate more, naturally.
