The project owners decide what they want, and if they say they need higher-ranking members, the campaign managers will hire those higher-ranking members to promote their projects.

OP asked very politely so I guess let's be polite with our answers as well shall we?
Him being a Jr. Member means he wants to learn more about how signature campaign works. This is the reason why lower ranked members aren't asking questions at all.
I don't know if my statement sounded rude, or should I say how it sounds based on the tune the reader uses in reading it, which might also transmit a different meaning from the statement? I really don't mean to be rude to the Op; I just needed to give a straight-forward response to what I feel is right.
I guess I felt sensitive by the time I'm making that post hence, I felt that you sounded rude to your post but my apologies to that.

Anyway, I hope that we have answered the OP's answer by now, and let's hope that he will lock this thread already (if he cares about our answers). Cheesy

Hello,
Why are most signature campaigns only for higher rank members? Why not for junior members or members? Who decides which rank members are included in a campaign? Campaign manager or company owner?

You can as well forst ask yourself this question that if you want to make a promotion of your services and products, who make decisions for you base on the criterials needed for you to achieve and arrived at your target plans.

If you're engaging a campaign manager, then he should be able to tell you the best strategies to use in making the promotional campaign and this will also  depends on your own budget as well, if the campaign is the type that will last long, then you may consider from full member upwards in rank to participate in your campaign and this have to be a decision you and the campaign manager will agree upon after considering the budget you already have on ground.

Because they wear more visible signature/ads that's why most of the campaign manager or the company choose higher ranks since they get more better exposure than hiring low rank. But don't feel bad about it since there are generous companies open a campaign for jr member rank and  up so maybe you just need to wait for that opening since for that maybe you could join then earn.
Wear a bigger and more colorful signature is big advantage of higher rank members. If two members, low-rank and high-rank, write two posts with same quality, a higher-rank member will be more helpful for a company.

High-rank members don't always make good posts or better posts than low-rank members but it is responsibility of campaign managers who are hired by companies, to filter applicants and choose best ones for the campaign and company.

But usually the decisions towards choosing ranks will depends on how the company and the manager discuss about that situation and the final say will always go to the company if they want to include low ranks or just choose high rank for good visibility of their ads here.
Usually difference between Hero member rank and Legendary rank is small and some campaigns consider Senior member rank as same as Hero/ Legendary rank and give same pay rate for participants.

I don't really think the campaign manager is responsible for making a decision on which rank members to select from but if they are the ones I think it should be from the Full members because they are very close to getting that recognition than a junior member or member, and if you're thinking about your self to get involved then I think is not going to work out. The aim is get yourself known by members I mean high ranked members to see how serious you are with the Forum and not to come and ask of ways of making money, many have tried that format which I don't think it worked out fine, so for me is best you do what you feel is right and erase that thinking of making money first, some are to get merit to rank up but we should be mindful of how we see the Forum.

There are a lot of users on this forum and believe me most of them are beginners and newbies, from brand new account to members, because its easier to get to these ranks and these small ranks are looking up to high rank members.

High ranking members have better signature design space and also more qualified to promote projects due to the forum contributions, new projects that are looking for adversters will prefer the best of the best and that's where higher ranks comes in.

One shouldn't be bitter about this because its not impossible to rank up to higher ranks, but I guess most people prefer the easy way out of everything, without top notch contributions on the forum it will be very hard to rank up, unfortunately there is no any other ways than this.

In general, signature campaigns are not limited to high-ranking users only. You can see the signature campaign for low ranking users on Bounties (Altcoins), for example, in PredX's campaign, they even accept users of at least Jr. Member rank.

Who selects the participants in the signature campaign? is it the campaign manager or the company directly? It depends, whether the company directly arranges it or they hire a CM (Campaign Manager), if they hire a CM then the CM chooses the participants.

I didn't see anything wrong with how Nwada answered the op; maybe it was the directness of the answer that passed off as harsh.

Most CM feel the higher ranking members have more knowledge and rep to be in the campaign that is why they prefer them. Ive seen some campaigns require the services from the senior members up while some take from full members.

Ranks are considered in a campaign considering the level of members knowledges in the forum.
So usually, it is the campaign managers that makes the decision because he/she is expected to know the forum more better than the companies running the campaign.

So to get the best posts performing to the benefits of the companies, they requests for higher ranks because lower ranks are considered not knowledgeable enough yet.

As for OP, lower ranked members have limit in characters when it comes to wearing signature whereas, higher ranked members especially those Hero Members and Legendary members doesn't have (or at least the maximum number of characters is enough for the signature to be inserted). Higher ranked members can wear signature that are visually good for the users who are browsing the forum compared to those lower ranked members who can only insert texts on their signature. I believe this is one reason why they prefer higher ranked members. Nevertheless, I agree with what @Nwada001 said that it's up to the CM's and the project owners as well.

This is certainly one of the key things that managers simply have to pay attention to if they want the greatest possible exposure of the campaign they are promoting. Even if there is an exceptional beginner who may show more knowledge than some Legendary/Hero members, his visual presentation is significantly reduced due to the limitation of characters in the signature.

It's understandable that the OP is frustrated by this, but he has to understand that we've all been in the position he's in now, and I personally only got into my first sig campaign when I became a Full member. Given that he is very close to becoming a Member rank, he just needs a little more time and patience to achieve what he wants.

Who decides which rank members are included in a campaign? Campaign manager or company owner?
Companies that are new to the forum and want to advertise immediately do not even know anything about forum ranks, but they will discuss with their prospective manager, who will break everything down for them and hire participants they believe will be most suitable for the campaign, and that includes hiring high ranked members.

Hiring higher ranked members has something to do with getting better quality posters, but it is not limited to it. Visibility is crucial for every campaign, and the signature space of higher ranked users has better "features" than that of a lower ranked user, and so it will be noticed better, in addition, a Jr member cannot also upload an avatar, which is also a part of the advertisement.

Ranks are forum ranks.

Companies when are considering to spend money for advertisement in signature campaign will have to assess cost and benefit from their campaigns. Higher rank members will be able to wear better signature that contains more information, makes better graphical impression, and higher rank members can have better knowledge about the forum, Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and other things so they are able to make better posts.

Overall higher rank members can contribute better for the companies and it's better for them in benefits from advertisement.

Actually when a campaign is run on the forum the CM of the campaign decides who they will allow to work with them. Currently most of the campaigns we see on the forum are taken up by senior plus members. Campaign managers (CM) may be taking such steps nowadays to avoid spam.

Also OP you were earlier involved in a campaign which is currently being run by a well-known manager of this forum @AB de Royse777. Junior members were also given an opportunity to work in that campaign. However, currently higher ranking members are allowed to work there.  Even a few days ago there were two campaigns running in this forum where members were given the opportunity to work but currently they are closed.

The lower ranks are full of spammers and alt accounts, which are not the ideal candidates for signature campaigns. The lowest rank accepted in high quality campaigns is usually Full Member. The requirement for being a Full Member is a minimum of 100 merits, which is not easy for a spammer to acquire.

Some campaigns that I have seen which accepted Members, the pay rate was so low that it is difficult for users to spend their earnings without losing a significant amount in fees.

Mostly of this members are spammers not all but some, also campaign managers want quality post, if you look at some of those ranks they will just post anywhere with their task on some bounties, like post on twitter Facebook etc., campaign managers and the one who is paying want to reach the correct audience for their business.

(....)

Now the most obvious reason is the limitation in the space for signature codes, this space are limited for lower ranks making the signature of the advertising company to be not visible as it would be. We all know advertisements is all about visibility, so how do you spend money on a thing that can’t get you the required audience.
This makes sense, it must be about building a "brand" not only for tasks and money. There are already a lot of good campaign managers who are not tolerating this, even if you have high ranks, quality still matters.
What I noticed recently is, that there is some increase in being active and having sense lower ranks than higher ranks.
For OP, you can try to find or check sometimes for openings in  Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins) section.

It can be a mutual decision by the company owner or marketing team and the campaign manager. They're following to what's needed by the company to get the maximum exposure.

And for the rank members, there are limitations for what lower ranks can be visible with for their signature codes and that's one reason for it.

Don't worry, there are campaigns that allows still to get into their campaign but it's just that we seem to have a drought of campaigns this season.

There are various reasons why a campaign may be interested in hiring only high rank members:
  • Newbies and junior members cannot wear signature and avatar. Member rank can wear signature but cannot have an avatar. You have to be at least full member rank to enjoy these privileges.
  • High rank members are expected to have a sound knowledge of bitcoin and the forum. So if an exchange is promoting its campaign here, they would want to hire members who are very active in bitcoin discussions and technical discussions.
  • High rank members have a reputation and are less likely to break the rules, get red tagged or banned during the campaign. Campaigns with reputable members easily gain trust from the community.

I’m not sure it is up to the campaign manager to decide what rank should represent the campaign. But I know some CMs like CryptoprenuerBrainboss, yahoo62278 e.t.c. try to make room for member ranks to earn in their campaigns.
