Media has no idea of what bitcoin is,they invented negative stories of bitcoin that is not true,the infact in many people bitcoin is not true and just a scam.Since many are now talking about the drops happening in bitcoin price speculations coming from different people makes the news worst but in time comes that bitcoin hits again the market and appreciate much surely the news will be change
Recently I actualy saw rather big deal of positive but still careful writings about bitcoin.The media have their bosses and most of their owners are in the banking sector and they are the main rivals and enemies of the bitcoin currency and that is why they are so against it, they are trying to please their bosses.
Most people are here on the new channels that have been criticized in a bitcoin and an altcoins here we are moving .because everything does not move in.I think what bitcoin and altcoins are here to and why people are going to a normal judge about something they did not even even think before publishing articles should be criticized at bitcoin .and altcoin are seen most if a government in the present time that everyone would like to support bitcoin and tomorrow everyone is pressing to criticized the bitcoin of people who have his own bank and of course the government how we have control over all citizens so all people go toward the enslaved of a system , all I can not do is how to look it other in bitcoin as a good thing .I was not watched it manipulated by the government or all a political occasion that orders a country .
It depends on what media that issued the news. Mostly, if the media is government-pro and the government itself is against bitcoin, so the media will publish "tilting news" about the bitcoin. Vise versa, if the media itself is familiar with bitcoin and espouse with cryptocurrency (from their own research or another source).
Because the nature of media is being biased?
I Believe the there is two option that why'd i see media is always having a negative sentiment about Bitcoin.
first, I believe most of them are uneducated, we can see hows their headline and news are terrible if we have known about Bitcoin, we can know easily which media is bad. second, I'm sure laziness is the part of it, the media director have a little time to research more about Bitcoin, so that will result in a biased opinion.

looks like he's writing from a short-term perspective. hoping that stocks for oil and gas companies will catch up soon with rest of the market... even then i wouldn't put my money in them. just leaving this comment here because you actually gave a bad example of anti-cryptocurrency news
when ever I found any news about bitcoin it is negative news , i am confused why traditional mass media always against bitcoin ?
They wanna drive the price down a few hundred dollars so they can make a few extra million This is also the natural progression of human acceptance of a new technology. First people criticize it as a fad, then they say "well I would never need that", then they start to get curious, then they realize the want it, and finally they realize the need it.
Most people or news channels that criticize bitcoin and altcoins do so because they do not understand what bitcoin and altcoins are.That is the sickness of all people, we are so quick in judging at one thing or at someone, we manipulate things so that other people will be confused on what is the real truth,
You can see some governments that today say they will support bitcoin and tomorrow are in the press to criticize bitcoin. For people who own banks and certain governments who want to have total control of all their citizens so that their people become enslaved to their system, they do not look at bitcoin as a good thing. I myself do not watch certain news channels because they are news channels manipulated by the government or are manipulated by the elite of the political party that commands the country
I think they are against for it because its not aware of the benefits of bitcoin. And they are not knowledgeable for it. They want them to get the bitcoin down. Many news right now is that kind of bias. And took advantage for it. Many people have that crab mentality attitude because they dont want us to achieve more. May be media will help bitcoin to promote bitcoin. Its kinda marketing strategy
I don't agree with that. Even that there are some instances that they got paid to release negative articles about bitcoin, it does not mean they are against it. It's just that they stick on what's the trend. When it's bear market, it's all FUD but when it's a bull market, they're like 100% supportive.
is because the media thinks about bitcoins as a fake scam! so newspapers also make negative articles about bitcoin for public demand! you know newspaper only published their news for public demand for their own profit.
Normally the media companies are owned solely by financial conglomerates or share holders of some of these financial conglomerates so the fact that no one seeks to tell an unbiased view of bitcoins and let the people decide for themselves suggest that someone dosent want the general population to know the truth of what bit coin is , hopefully when people now see and hear the announcement from Samsung that they will be producing mining chips that will give thinking people a very good idea of what is happening. All these people in power who are painting a bad picture of bit coins is doing so with the sole objective of protecting their cash flow with little regard for us the normal regular population and what would be in our advantage.
This depends on the media owner, and we all know that the news in the media is full of conflicts of interest so as long as there is an expensive pay then they will accept without ever being concerned with the actual facts.
They were just used by influential people who just want to buy cryptos on much lower price or maybe from businessmen that thinks they need to bring down cryptocurrency since it became dangerous on their business, they just using media for their benefits.
We need someone like Donald Trump to promote Bitcoin and thrash the media LODL 
Media is always against something new. Because the more drama they can present, the more profit they will have. Besides normal people does not know much about bitcoin still. Media is taking advantages of that situation. Also, some country does not allow bitcoin. That also creates a little bit o negative effect in the mind of the people. That is another reason why media is manipulating us with some fake news.

Because drama sells newspapers...or clicks on a website. This is also the natural progression of human acceptance of a new technology. First people criticize it as a fad, then they say "well I would never need that", then they start to get curious, then they realize the want it, and finally they realize the need it.
We're in the "well I would never need that" phase with a few people starting to get curious.
Bitcoin's been making its epic run all year long. The mainstream media didn't care until August. And when they were reporting in August the news was all about "epic run, it's a fad, it's a bubble, bitcoin fans are foolish!" Now, in December, we're starting to see more articles about the future, the value, and the staying power of Bitcoin.
It's been fun to watch! Don't worry about the mainstream media...worry about your own personal comfort level with Bitcoin.
I don't actually think that media is ''against'' bitcoin, but the idea is, it can be a means of promoting bitcoin and also increasing its popularity among the entire population. Why? Because once they are aware of it, they will be bothered by questions concerning what is bitcoin, once these questions were established, they might be hooked to it. Also, maybe some of the media people are truly ''against'' it maybe because other companies or other ''well-respective'' people are actually against bitcoin for some reasons.
Media is spreading news which is sponsored by big corporate and Banking sectors where the most of the money flow going towards crypto currecny . They want to stop this flow and they want to take back financial independence from people.
