Business need to advertise on media , through which media earn money a lot. BUt here with bitcoin there is no need to advertise it on media because the user of the bitcoin are self advertising it by investing in it and by making trade in it. People make investment in bitcoin , which attract new people to start work with bitcoin, The existing user guide thier friends to join bitcoin for earning good income. In this way bitcoin is advertising it self which is directly ignoring the media for advertisement. Now because bitcoin not pay to media there for the media is against of it.

Because the media is controlled by governments and they are controlled by banks.
The central bank doesn't like Bitcoin, because they can't control it, like they can with the Euro or other national currencies.
So, that's why they bring Bitcoin negative in the news, to destroy it and to keep in control over the money flow.

The media tends to be run by unspecialised people, they don't understand the intrinsic details of how the currency is progressing so, like all idiots, they fear the unknown. It may also be that banks and other institutions are funding a smear campaign against crypto to turn governments and the people against crypto.

Well because some media people have no idea about bitcoin. They will show in their news that the central bank are warning people about bitcoin. That it is not secured and decentralize. They do not prohibit but they warned people. For those who knew bitcoin a long time ago, the warning made by the bank is nonsense.

Well, if you go to google and type “Bitcoin”, then select the “news” section and in “tools” pic the “last 24 hours” you will see a heterogeneous panorama where news about Btc shows many faces.

I think this is really useful when you try to see what’s going on with international papers and how cryptocurrencies are shown on them.
For instance, I discovered that it is usual to see in the conservative newspaper no news at all, or in the rare case where the mention to BTC exists, you can see not a good word about it. However, in progressive newspapers is common to read deferents points of view, from the total hate to the most passionate love to cryptocurrencies.

The general tone of the speech seems to be, as said, heterogeneous and may be related to the country newspapers are from.

Thats because maybe some banks are funding media to spread negative news about bitcoin. Maybe theyre just afraid of being over taken by the bitcoin. If more people knows about the truth behind bitcoin and what it does, I think banks are going to suffer. And thats the worst case scenario for them all thats why theyre are spreading news and hoax about it so that the people will be discourage and not going to invest in bitcoin.

I think some are against Bitcoin and some support Bitcoin. It's normal, news agencies are funded by different groups with conflict interests. Those will be damaged by the rise of cryptocurreny will be against Bitcoin

People who bought bitcoin year ago are satisfied with it, not against bitcoin.
Media mostly belong to "old money" and old business is unlikely to keep money in crypto, so every correction considered as bursting bubble.

This actually depends on the media itself. There are some media supporting crypto currencies and some of them is against. As you all know that market is dominantly owned by bunch of whales and each of them own some media organizations. They all control media to manage our fears to control prices.

yes I agree with you, that not all media information , contrary to or against with the presence of this crypto currency, there is also a support, as opposed to bitcoin, perhaps because the media is controlled by certain forces to fight bitcoin, because there are some parties who do not benefit from this currency
