With all that in mind, be wary of anything you see in the mass media. If it's a topic unfamiliar to you too, don't assume you're getting an inside track by reading one of their reports.
It's obvious for me. Every country and their media trying to say profitable stuff to people that's why sometimes you reciving messadges where bitcoin is bad.
I would like to add something into this note and that is media is handled by people and banks. Now banks who are sponsor to every other event of the media do place their conditions to that specific media houses, just like wall street has its influence on the financial think tanks and news papers. If the bitcoin is getting stronger, it means that banks are getting weaker and that is what they do not want to, so be very much ready for more bad things to read or listen about crypto currency system.

Media has been really with the peoples view, they want to have peoples heart. But to say, not all media are againts bitcoin, some just dont want to open their mind about it, and stuffs like that, we can see some media advertising bitcoin, like this social stuffs.

for the simple reason of thinking that bitcoin is a bubble or a fad, the media makes it easier for bitcoin to disappear so everything stays normal, people are attracted to the idea of bitcoin, however, they do not follow because of misinformation, and the media are to blame for this, they do not want people to leave the system, they do not want to invoke the economy, they fear what bitcoin can become.
they fear that if bitcoin become famous ,their organizations and business will be affected by this bitcoin hype , that is why there are so many people especially who runs a business such as banks , governments , financial services like lending , etc and they just pay for the media in order to produce fake news in order to discredit bitcoin into the public. some people will also intented to do it because they are also investing in bitcoin if ever the price of bitcoin gets affected to such fuds and fake speculations, they can also get a benefit by doing these gimmick.

There are lots of negative news in bitcoins because of the current movement of it in the market. Media are just stating the fact, especially in crypto currency because that's what they observed. However, this negative news about bitcoin is to let other people to be aware what's really going on in the crypto world. What's great about them is that, they interview and ask some opinions to the financial analysts and economist which will inspire others to keep on holding their coins.
I know I'm not against the media in bitcoin. Media work is about delivering news to people. So bitcoin is being reported because many bad people use bitcoin to cheat thousands of people. The media guides the people what is the advantage and disadvantage of bitcoin.

It is not the media that is against bitcoin. It is the people or companies that paid the media to spread negative news about crypto so that it will create fear among the bitcoin community. Media is just being used by the rich people trying to topple down bitcoin or the cryptocurrency as a whole. when ever I found any news about bitcoin it is negative news , i am confused why traditional mass media always against bitcoin ?
Traditional media owners may have a vested interest in the negative news they are preaching. Some possible orders from the government or from certain parties who want something from bitcoin. This is just my speculation.
The media willsometimes always find negative parts of a trendy setter that most people are not knowledgeable enough. Mostly not all can understand the liabilities of bitcoin and altcoins thats why they are against it because they seem to have a hard time dealing with it. They seem to find it unaccessible since it's new to them. But that's what media do. Sooner or later the world will better understand altcoin and bitcoin and all its aspect and it will be patronized by the world. The world is continuously developing so is bitcoin.
It's an advertising job they deliver what's good and bad! They get paid for that! Don't be so serious on how they coverage on that part! There are several reason why they keep publishing news about bitcoin.
with this job of media, sometime they more publish bad news only rather good news.
however its their job. now our job is to verify all the information comes from them, double check is needed to verify it whether its good or not and fake or not.

I watch a news In my country before about bitcoin and that news is obviously hate bitcoin because they experience scam, but the problem about it is not bitcoin, the problem is them. They invest their money without any research if they really invest in real bitcoin ot it's just scam.
Media is against almost everything, it thrives on negativty and it loves warning people for good opportunities and converting people to unskeptical thinkers who just buy things from ads and are addicted to sensual media entertainment.

Not all the media are against Bitcoin. A good side effect of crypto is that it has created its own media so we don´t have to rely on general public services that are anyway crap.
Almost media against bitcoin, because they do not see anything but errors and insufficiency of a service. Before we disseminate misinformations let's check first and try to find out the truth of a service. No one else can says that the bitcointalk is scam but only the media.
The awarness about Bitcoin is on the increase daily, to get the attention of investors and future investors, negative news tends to sell more than goodnews reason why alot of journalist, bloggers tends to display negative news more in other to attract attention, Bitcoin is here to stay and reduce the level of poverty, the negative season is for a while/

I'm certainly not a supporter of a worldwide conspiracy) But still I think that it's someone you need. Nothing happens just like that.
First of all: People are scared about changes, when people are scared, they can be brainwashed easily. There are certainly some people that wants to destroy BTC and cryptos, they’ll do everything they can to achieve that.
Then, as somebody already pointed out, a lot of newspaper and blogs like to attract readings and clicks via dramatic titles, due to instill doubt and fear and skepticism against new technologies

I don't take those news seriously instead I am updating myself in the bitcoin news and here in forum.
