They intentionally do it because they are afraid of the growth of cryptocurrency and lose all their business, most of the banks feared of cryptocurrency and they know that people prefer on investing in bitcoins more than placing their money on the banks.

People working in social media probably understand that their influance on cryptocurrencies is very high and the promoting other altcoins saying bad stuff about bitcoin.
You don't know why? Because the government controls the media. Government hates bitcoin and other crypto currencies, so they use the media to spread the hate. They use it to brainwash naive citizens head. They do something bad and then uses the media to cover it up and make it look like "they did the right thing", so they don't have to face any questions from the people.

Well we all know that media is just spreading fraud and fake news most of the time regardless of the consequences. They are just working for money and care nothing if it's truth or lie. What we need to do about those kinds of news is just to ignore it and just continue enjoying the goodness of bitcoin.

Because media thinks that this is a scam. And when you say scam the first thing that passby on their mind is it is not good. That is why some media anti bitcoin because they don't know really bitcoin is.

A lot of media sources and news providers up to date are controlled by corporate officials that are also manipulated by greedy capitalists. The reason as to why they despise bitcoin is mainly because of its decentralization. Due to this, they couldn't earn profit from bitcoin and they are even more put in an unsafe spot where they are competing against bitcoin. So they are doing evey measure they can even despwrate tactics like this.
Media is a tool of manipulation, in the world there are no objective mediaand you will not get reliable information from the media.

The main reason for this is that they don't understand it! The media goes with the flow of things and just try to report things for the sake of reporting. Anyone who is deep into the crypto/blockchain world knows that regulation is not necessarily bad! I think the current media is influenced by the government.
