Absolutely right about it and they want to publish negative thoughts about bitcoin, because bitcoin can actually earn easiy money and you can actually work online job as long as you know how to study what are the main factors here in crytocurrency world. Of course they will continue to feed negativity about bitcoin to the public, after all they're getting paid and they have to protect the interest of the one who pays them, it may be the Government, Influential People, or even The Banks but one thing is for sure they will do their best to destabilize everything who gets in their way not just Bitcoin.
They are negative about Bitcoin because they do not earn from it. It is because it has managed to become bigger each passing day without them getting paid by big companies for advertisements and other marketing purpose you can ever think of. I think media is negative about bitcoin because people are more interested at negative news rather than good or inspiring news. So they will gathered information mostly negative feedback to make people interested to their report and for the sake of their show ratings. And it is not only media. Most of them are the negative are the people who did not believe at bitcoin and I dont know the reason why they hate bitcoin so they use social media to have negative feedback then the media will alarm then they will be the instrument of the negative people to have a negative news feedback about bitcoin.
I think government know this because if media spread negative news about bitcoin they discourage people to get into it, people who doesn't know bitcoin think bitcoin is a form of scam, and worst part about spreading negative news about bitcoin it may start to panic selling.

Yeah you have your point media never interested for cryptocurrency because they focused on everyday happening for the people in our community like accident,social media,sports,government politics and etc. 
i think media is just following orders from the government and also media always see negative things about everything. they cant published bitcoin that have a price than can make you rich.

by the way its not media everyone who has any negative about this bitcoin people are in the media and they are who paid media to be able to spread the negative news about it many people who want to be control the bitcoin pricing is spreading FUD and fake news .most of them are to be wanted the price goes down so that everyone can buy it for the cheaper price while most of them are also wanted to destroy the bitcoin is getting stronger so all they need a patience and hard working . 
You know that media always try to follow the path of dominating people. Basically, Media can change anything when they all together focus on regarding that issue, but at present situations, most of the media platform is working for the favour capitalism.
