I think all these news have some political undertones. Most people are using political powers to bring Bitcoin down so that their businesses can also grow. Most politicians, knowing the impact of the media, then tend to influence the media to cause panic in order to achieve their goal.
Media aren't always right, sometimes goverments just use them to brainwashes the residents of your coutry to easily rule their empire.
Media sometimes connected with a dark power which are usually related with corruptions.

Media sells more with the negative news so they just come with fake news to get popularity. They don't know what they're doing
You have said it all,most people criticize what they like in the public but at the dark or corner they worship such things.The government and the media are bird of the same colors they react the same. Another fact is that some times they are paid by the government for such announcement,so they have to do there job to earn there little fees.
This is a trend guys, just like a market trend. If media is paid by others to promote/depromote bitcoin, they do what they were told to do so. Don't expect them to publish normal news all the time.
while the crypto currency is a new trend, I think the media smells a good thing for makes a lot of money and they makes some news and some of the news makes people panic. this is why that the media keep doing this because I am sure that they could make a panic for new people which joined in the crypto currency. but I don't think that they can keep doing this because I am sure that people could prevent the bad news that might be makes them panic.
This is because medias are owned by people from the old system, such as stock investors, bankers, etc. Bitcoin is indeed a threat to their financial supremacy, so they do all they can to shot it down, not very successfully for now

It's true that not all media is negative, but some media focus on collecting all kinds of information about the cryptocurrency market, then they often exaggerates a lot of FUD.

Not all medias are really negative about cryptocurrency. The only reason why black propaganda's are being created by media's is because they are being payed to do that, even televisions are creating fake stories to decrease the investors of bitcoins. Just believe on cryptocurrency if you really thing that there's a bright future behind it.

Did you see when the bitcoin price was $18,000 what happened? all news channels were talking well of bitcoin, if today the news channels are talking bad bitcoin is because they need news that have some impact.

I think the reason for media's rage over bitcoin is becayse corporate individuals and greedy capitalists lost a great amount of their money due to the outbursts of bitcoin investors and it's high monetary value

Well have to make this simple.. Media is under the power of oligarchs.. And oligarchs doesnt want people will get rich by the use of bitcoin.. Coz they have a lot of businesses.. Will infact some of them invest in bitcoin too.. We never know whats behind that idea.. Its just my opinion..
That's actually what I'm thinking. They try to raise the FUD so that they can enter the market when BTC is at a low. It's actually funny when you try to convince people with bitcoin's many features and it's potential to innovate payments but most don't believe it. But when you spread FUD about it they're easy to convince.
I have been in to crypto-sector for quite sometime, as I made my first investment in 2013. I would say that the media coverage (at least that in the western nations) have become much more positive, when compared to the situation we were having earlier. But here in India, the media coverage is entirely negative, in line with the government attitude.
Well, its good that some media informs the public about the risk involved in investing to bitcoins, in order for the people to think again or research more about bitcoins. What is bad is that most of the media spreads false information to the public since most of the broadcasters doesn't really understand the concept of bitcoins.

Media is negative in bitcoin because they were manipulated by the world government since our government use and produce fiat currency or paper money which they want to increase their value . Media were ask for sure by this government to make fake news against bitcoin which is misleading to the people who see's it . Media is very strong platform to control peoples belief towards community . But for us bitcoin users we know the positive side of bitcoin and it really help us in our daily lives that other people didn't know about it .
