Because almost all media work for the government. And Bitcoin is anonymous, which is not beneficial to the government.
Anything that sells is the media's piece of cake and negativity and ill talking about BTC currently seems like the deal, Media houses dont act independently. There might either be under influence from the National Governments which are against Bitcoins or under the influence of powerful interest groups we might never know
Some of the media are creating news , writing articles, making reports , and some are a little bit bitter with cyptos and the bad thing is that they might influence those innocent people reading, broadcasting their hates to bitcoin, but even if it is negative ,it still make cryptos be known and people will make some research and info about cryptos and they might join the bitcoin organization.
I think that, first of all, the media act in the interests of big players to create the mood of the crowd! After all, ordinary people do not know that bitcoin has started to grow, they need to report this, just at this point, the big players are beginning to sell their assets!

Well, not everywhere. Here in my place media is neutral. They dont give any comment or suggestions on cryptocurrencies. Twice a day, every after morning and evening news as they give updates on the stockmarket, they also give updates on bitcoin. Maybe the reason why some medias make such comment is because they are being asked by the government. I don't think I have seen nor heard that media is doing it. Or maybe I just missed that news about it. But as per other negative things media is reporting about bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, it is all about some people, group or individual who are doing negative things about it. Like investing, promising heaven in a matter of short time and then eventually becoming a scam.

Not all news and information portals relate bad for bitcoin, there are many news channels that treat very good for bitcoins and blockchain technologies giving real and useful information about bitcoins to their readers, but there are also news channels that give specially false information about bitcoin, to reduce the price for bitcoin, they do it for by order of certain people.

Because most media are paid by the government. Government also controls media thats why media chooses the news they wanted to feature. If you are pro government then any negative news about bitcoin will instantly features in television or in any other platform because they want to destroy bitcoin.

now a days there are alot of private media which are working only fro money and some countries are trying to finish bitcoin through media.
Media usually follows the trends. I noticed this late last year when ever news outlet started to cover Bitcoin. Most if not all of them had positive things to say about Bitcoin but only when certain individuals started to bash Bitcoin did they start to change their tune. You must also remember that most if not all news outlets are owned by the wealthiest families in the USA. If you own the media then you can make a lot of money by influencing the markets. Bad news usually tanks Bitcoin and good news usually have positive results for Bitcoin. If you know what news to expect before anyone else then you can profit from that. Well, how I can see it is that, the media is being used by the governments, big corporations and the banks to be able to execute the black propaganda against Bitcoin, they cannot just take actions against Bitcoin without reasons, they need the media to make Bitcoin look bad and then they will have a great reason of so called "protecting their people" to do actions against Bitcoin without letting everyone know of their selfish motives and interests.
The media most times is control by the government and at that the government can influence the direction the media will go, so the media is not and can never spread any thing in favor of what the government is against. The media attacks on bitcoin and the crypto market entirely is what we should expect because he who pays the viper dictate the tune.
Media is always there to get negative and hot news. That's how their channels work. there are many negative points in bitcoin and we are not even denying them, but still they are going to make a mess with it. people are not much informed about anything so if they believe in the media, then they are always trusting to blind reports. They always do this game play. There are actually two different thing in the media. One is the war between the media company owners (depends on if owner is a crypto whale or not) and second one is the game play that you mentioned. My advice is don't take them serious.
