Media doesn't seem negative at all, it depends on how the netizens acts on bitcoin. Media user has two types it either positive or negative, so we can't say that media is making bitcoin negative at all.
Now some people is scared of new things and technologies and it's capability to different kind of possibilities. Media is not a very wide range source of information so we shouldn't just rely on it.
indeed sometimes something good is often used as negative news for the media and this is too much but all can be overcome with the good future bitcoin will bring many negative news even positive but we as bitcoin owners never question the negative news and I always think positive 
One thing is, many got scammed by paying bitcoin to a team in exchange for another token however, the media, without full knowledge of what is really in there will deliver the scenario as if bitcoin has scammed the people whereas the truth is, it is the team or people behind fake projects. Another is, due to cyber criminals who comitt crimes in payment of bitcoin or any other coina which is dragging crypto down.
All the media are pro-government so they will always support whatever the government itself determines, while Bitcoin has no acknowledgment from some governments about its contribution to the economy of a country, I think it is one of the causes why newspapers always preach things negative against Bitcoin.

This actually depends on the point of view. Bitcoin is something new, it's possible their understanding is wrong, let alone they are not directly related to cryptocurrency. Another possibility is that the media is controlled by certain classes that do not support bitcoin.
There are many bitcoin opposers and some of these forces influence the media to publish false news about Bitcoin. We should all know that in every good community, there will be bad people who try to manipulate systems and so these kind of people shouldn't tarnish the image of crypto. Some of these media people a only focus on the bad things crypto can be used for forgetting that fiat currencies can also be used for these things too.
Probably because crypto means to be a decentralization tool that is totally the opposite of what media is? Just think about it, and you will find the answer by yourself, you wont need to come here to ask that.
I think media is not up for bitcoin because of its volatility. Media doesn't want people lose all their money for bitcoin that the price is highly unstable. And no one wants that right? That's why media is giving warning to all.
Same with my thoughts, we all know that in media, news is more in negative side of one thing, to make people aware about the negativity; and Bitcoin is not that stable, it gets lower and higher.

I think its because most of the media, especially television and paper news are biased towards the government or some high authority. This biased views may lead to those negative articles and news. But as a wise user, we should know better and know our sources when it comes to news. People should always dig deeper and not always just look in the surface.
so far in my country media kaitanya about bitcoin fine fine, there is nothing negative about bitcoin, because the existence of bitcoin in my country is very supportive and very helpful to the economy of society in particular.
