I think this is why the coin is sparking so much confidence in the people who are investing in it, right now most of the other big coins are dealing with the problems of people actually hard forking their coins and that is not something that we have to worry about with neo, which is a good thing. I think that the fact that we do not hav to worry about the coins gives us hope

NEO has always been like that you can only transfer whole numbers between wallets off an exchange. If however you want to keep your NEO on an exchange and trade in there then you can buy and sell decimal places of NEO without any issues.

And my question is why?

To make it look like there's actual shares, they made them impossible to divide - similar to how stocks cannot be divided by their owners.
You don't really need to divide NEO though, only the GAS and this functionality is already available.
it depends on which market you use, sometimes there are some markets that have such policies. like HITBTC.

Sorry to get off topic, but I don't see any positive news or technical updates of NEO. I'm not sure it's developing at all! What's going on with this coin? Is it worth investing and why? Thank you in advance!
Last year there was a big hype around this project because they announced a lot of new partnerships and so on and without news, price dropped.
I even see cases like the one from your story that you wrote here, that NEO coins cannot be divided

One of the properties of the neon can be transferred as an integer. For this, always buy as an integer.
Yes it's true and I don't understand why devs made this choose, it has no sense expecially if they expect a big rise of NEO price.... I hope they will implement this feature soon!
