You can do many things with a body!!!
-You can use the organs
-You can test multiple invention on them (car crash for example)
-You can use them for medical training
-You can make excellent fertilizer from it

Dude when you're dead you're dead. Why should i care about what happens to my body after i die? I'd just leave a lifeless shell of what i used to be ready to be eaten by maggots in the coming years. I think few people would care about how their corpses would be handled after they die. I don't think such laws would have any effect at all.

No, not to humiliate their families rather show an example to the rest of the world, how criminals are going to be treated even when they take their own life to avoid facing the justice, isn't that's the purpose of law?
