I've played multiplayer games when I was much younger, it was in the network, the online games came a bit late for me.
While for an online game you have to commit quite some time in order to achieve something, in gambling you play as much as you want (and your wallet allows it).
While in a multiplayer game you can't just leave in the middle of the battle, in a hi-low game or even roulette you get out at almost any time.
While an online game needs concentration and maybe some skills too, for gambling all you need is luck.

I would say it is because they want to be part of something and interaction is the main reason for the person and not totally entertainment when they go out to gamble.
Cause playing games online seem to make an individual isolated since they are in front of screen just with a keyboard and mouse to interact with the pixels flying across their screen.
And of course there is the reward part of it.
When playing online games you are unlocking achievements and with gambling getting the winnings usually with a bonus attached along with it.
That is if you are playing your cards right. Wink

Almost gamblers are saying that words they gambling for fun but i believed that they are gambling not only for fun they do it to get also profit. And i know that every gamblers have purpose why they gambling its all about money.

Its really all about money and if we do try to make a ratio for those people who do enjoy gambling without minding money then they are only few in numbers and most of the time gamblers is really seeking out profits on why they do play gambling in the very first place.They skip things which arent profitable or do give a chance to make money this is why online gamers and gamblers are on different field of interest.

I think with money involve in the games, it will attract people to come to the games and it gives them another passion to win some money and they will spend their money to do this. but if that person thinks that playing gambling games cannot give him the money then maybe he will play games online only and maybe he only spend small money to get fun in the games.

Online tournaments had made gaming another opportunity for playing games rather than gambling where you have no guarantee that you will win. Me personally do both, Casino is a sort of enjoyment factor for which I like to play there games, and even I participate in online tournaments as well as offline. Games like DOTA, CS and FIFA are the ones mostly I play due to frequent tournaments and good money. Gambling games can also give you money but among my friends mostly the loss percentage is on the higher side.

I agree.People who play online games even at home just feel pure fun and pleasure.But with gambling in real casinos,the players don't just want to feel fun and excitement but they have also that eagerness to win and make some profit.Of course they will if they got the luck somehow but most of the time,they just go home with their pockets empty but still wish to play again to win back their losses.

Those people who play gambling for fun and enjoyment they like to play gambling in casinos, while those people who mostly want to play gambling for making money they like to play it online, as they can play gambling in any time of the day or night. They do not need to visit any casino but can play gambling from their house very easily.

This just explains it all. In casinos, you interact with people, you laugh sometimes when you are having pretty good wins and you even have some moment within the casino that can make it more fun. However, except for some few gambling site where you can have some chats with some fellow gamblers, you are just on your own with your red and greens and may be the sound of your heart beat and it is not like you are really doing anything tasking except watching your dice roll automatically or playing blackjack with computer. Really, just like someone already said, the fun aspect of it is just a cover up so as to control addiction for some people, and like you said, most people in online casinos are there just for the cash without second thoughts.

Well, let's not forget the fact that even though gambling gives you similar sense of accomplishment and a wallet filling possibilities, there is still the possibility of gambling leaving your wallet empty.

It all depends on each individual and how they want to place it, no one says gambling is not fun, and it is really good for people to have those mentality, but the thing is that anyone that cannot really control their greed, no matter how fun they want to place gambling, they still end up as an addict anyway.

Because as far as i know for those gambler they said that gambling brings them thrill and excitement every time they gambled not just like playing online games after an hour you've got bored. Yes they are right that gambling excitement that was there if you choose gambling as as entertainment of your's when you are tired after work.
Yes you can build communities with others but after a months i don't think if you will survived or you're looking for another online games just like gambling, while you enjoy in gambling there's a big possibility to have a huge profit.

Man, it's like to ask: Why don't you play assassinms creed over prince of persia. Really, it's similar question. Everyone has different taste, for some people poker and blackjack is good, for others some arcades and etc. Everyone finds different thing for fun. Assassin’s creed and prince of Persia are both games that you can play for fun, however, if we are talking about gambling where you even lose money in the process and then calling it fun, I guess that is overrated. We should call a spade a spade, people gamble because they have the belief that they can get lucky and make some extra cash, we should leave the fun aspect aside.

I totally get your gist, but the fact is that just very few people see it this way and even the other category of people only uses this to console them.
